For some reason, it deeply bothers me that Rob Liefeld is still getting mainstream DC and Marvel work. I wanted to punch whoever put him on Teen Titans.
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man is right up there with Uncanny X-men for "comic books that I have an insatiable thirst to read but can't because I know it's going to be a waste of time". It's a shame since a Peter David/Mike Weiringo Spider-man book would have topped my list years ago.

Captain Atom Armageddon continues to be a great little mini that nobody cares about. Though my interest has left a bit of the book (it probably could of been a 6 or 7 issue mini instead of 9) it really continues to deliver. The tease for the next issue has me uber jazzed!
I'm digging the OYL Superman story as well. I feel like I've seen variations of the last page of issue four in the DC universe a zillion times already, but it still works for me.
The new Moon Knight was ok. It's my first introduction to the character so it did what it had to. I'm interested enough to see where at least the first storyline goes. And FYI - Batman can so to kick this guys ass!

I like the Wildcats tv series and I see they appear in Armageddon so I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

Hey, does anyone else snicker or just plain laugh out loud everytime you see that Jackass Superboy "prime" and his stupid "solar suit".

Let me ask this again... The DC Infinite Crisis isn't having any affect on the Vertigo world right?
Hell, what "earth" would the Vertigo world be?

Meaning Cassandra probably knew what she was doing by putting her on the hook over the pit by the expression on her face but who knows.
Anyway, I still don't understand why they ended Cassandra's Batgirl run. I'm sure I'm alone in this but I really liked her as Batgirl. I read the "No man's land" novelizatoin of the comic storyline and I've kept up with her over the years to some degree. So just when this Crisis shit pulled me in and got me reading Batgirl and liking the series they fuckin' end her run.

I'll probably be flamed but I really wanted Babs back as Batgirl.
Yeah I don't think it has any affect. Dan Didio seems to want to keep them separate. OF course that didn't stop us seeing Swamp Things hand in IC#6 and a mention of him in Robinson's Detective.
Didio says he doesn't want kids seeking out these comics after seeing the characters in the DCU. Hmm . . . ok. That might happen 2 or 3 times IMO.
I'd be willing to bet that if Swamp Thing and Constantine were brought back into the regular DCU sales would sky rocket. I know I'd be interested.

Yeah, I guess since Swamp Thing is a "Mystical" character what with him being a "elemental" and all, I guess it makes sense to have some minor appearance in the crisis. However, I also saw a few appearences of a VERY obscure character called Black Orchid in one or two crisis books. I think, and I could be wrong, her character was one of the early Vertigo books to be published when Vertigo was started up. I also guess she goes back and forth between Vertigo and the Regular DC line.

I'm still miffed that I pre-ordered a softcover edition and got a second printing because Jeff Smith set the initial print run before all the orders came in just so he'd have some copies on-hand for Comicon that year. Boo!

Robo, a lot of the appeal in the mini is seeing how he interacts with the mainstays of the Wild Storm Uni, but I think you can go in knowing nothing about any of them and still enjoy it. Be sure to let me know what you thought when you get around to reading it.
And I thought Swamp Thing made a cameo in IC 6?

Captain Atom was also the leader of the better-off-forgotten Justice League EXTREME, which at least brought Firestorm back to the DC universe.
Also, Watchmen was clearly based off of the Charlton characters that DC got the rights to: Blue Beetle 1 & 2(Nite Owl 1 & 2), Captain Atom ( Dr. Manhattan), Question (Rorshach), Nightshade (Silk Spectre), Peacemaker (the Comedian), Thunderbolt (Ozymandias). I think DC and/or Moore nixed the idea because all of them were being integrated into the DC universe, but I think it worked out better with original characters.

Anyone notice that Supergirl was pushed back yet again AND Rucka is no longer the writer AND Benes is no longer the artist. What's the deal with that title?
MBoyd, what do you wonder?

Someone speculated it must be Rucka's workload. How much longer is that going to be a top selling book with these delays and changes?
Heinberg said WW was definitely Diana . . . but this? I don't know what to think. What a tease.
