Showing $63.47 for me ...

The more modern stuff is stuff I already have, but I would love to pick up a collection of classics like this.

Alita: Battle Angel is tempting at that price for a 4K release.

I think I'm going to buy this one and sell my Australia version one. I paid about the same price for the Australia release but I think it is just the 4k disc, no blu-ray. I'll check when I find it. Should be in my 4k Only storage box.

Shooter (Steelbook) (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD) $7
what the hell, buy some stuff I really do not need.

Buy 2 Get 1 Free, mimicking Target's sale:

Get 3 for the price of 2. (amazon.com) Get 3 for the price of 2. (amazon.com)

Only selected titles are on sale, but if we're going by past sales, titles are usually added (and removed) through out the week.

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

So decided to jump in on the Amazon sale, but stacked the shit out of it to essentially get all of these movies for $6.38 each.

Ingmar Bergman BD CC set (39 films)
The Before Trilogy BD (3 films)
America Lost and Found BD (7 films)
Hellboy 4K
The Martian 4K
Leon 4K
Dunkirk 4K
Rogue One 4K
Dracula Untold 4K

Total was $350 with the discounts but $29.25 per month for the next 12 months. Oh, and also got $4 in digital credits.

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

Seems like Amazon are couponing random titles again for additional savings.

For one, The Abbott & Costello: The Complete Universal Pictures Collection, priced at $108.50, has a $25.19 coupon.

Here are some Criterion couponed titles, for example, that are priced at $19.99:
Ali: Fear Eats the Soul - $2.66 coupon
All That Heaven Allows - $1.33 coupon
Festival - $3.33 coupon
Midnight Cowboy - $2.66 coupon
12 Angry Men - A mere .66 coupon
Also, the Dietrich and von Sternberg in Hollywood set, priced at $55.10 has a $7.77 coupon attached to it.

If making a purchase, before adding the title to the cart, you must check off the coupon box for that title
to get the savings.

Alas, from what I've seen, these coupon titles were not included in B2GO sale.

.
It seems these coupons change by the minute. The coupon for Leave Her to Heaven is now $2.47. Egads - how does one keep up with this stuff?

That is the $64 million dollar question!! It's all hit and miss!!

I found these wishlist titles couponed:
Forrest Gump (4K UHD) - priced at $18.76 w/$3.43 coupon
Black Hawk Down (4K UHD) - priced at $17.99 w/$1.80 coupon
Batman: The Complete Animated Series - priced at $56.49 w/$9.83 coupon
Brute Force Criterion - priced at $19.99 w/$1.33 coupon

A Shout Factory deal to mention:

Escape from LA currently has a $5.16 coupon on Amazon

The Deer Hunter 4K UHD has a $4.35 coupon

Brings the discs down to $18 and change each. I went ahead and picked both up last night. If you're interested in either title, you better hurry, these coupons don't last long.

Some coupons bring these down to about $15 each
Evil of Frankenstein
Quartermass and the Pit
The Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas

Some of the universal horrors have 7-10 dollar off coupons too.

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

Has anyone figured out any rhyme or reason to which discs Amazon adds a coupon for to get the price to 2/3 of Target's, vs the ones that are added to a B2G1?

The only rhyme or reason I can find is so that I can't find three items eligible for the deal at the same approximate pricepoint...

I just wish they'd have a central point where you could see all the items that are discounted and the amount of the coupon.

Dwilson, I just add the movies in my "saved for later", and at a quick glance you can see which ones have coupons

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

Here's a little trick I came up with on my own. It does require two separate browsers. On one browser, I have hundreds of items loaded up in an Amazon cart without being logged into my account. On the 'Get 3 For The Price of 2' landing page, Amazon will tell you which titles in your cart are eligible for the promotion.
If you copy this technique, you can never log into your Amazon account on the browser with the loaded cart, unless you want to manually delete hundreds of items.

I hadn't bought movies in a while so picked up a few 4Ks that I've been meaning to get:

Ghost in the Shell (original)
Evil Dead
District 9
