Hitchcock 4K set currently has a $10.66 coupon bringing cost down to $39 and change.

Thanks for the heads up on "Someone to Watch Over Me" I had that in the save for later section of my cart since it was released. While I missed the deal at Amazon it is still available at Walmart. Ordered other stuff to get free shipping.

Universal is replacing the replacement discs which had the same problem as the original disc on Psycho per the Digital Bits website so all will eventually be well.
Universal is being responsive to the problem.

Taking a break from Criterion binging, I noticed that they also have some Shout Factory on sale. I noticed a bunch of $14.99 titles (probably price matching target). So I picked up The Crush, Ginger Snaps, and the new Four Weddings and a Funeral with a 4K scan. Makes it basically $10 per disc which is decent value for Shout Factory releases.

Six film Mission Impossible blu ray $15.

I’d rather get the 4K, but for that price and the fact that I don’t own any of them I might have to bite.

Screw it, I’m going for it. Have some points that cover the cost. If I upgrade later on I won’t feel bad knowing I got the collection so cheap.

Just keep in mind that this set is missing quite a few special features that were on separate discs in the individual releases. Still, for that price, you can't go wrong.

Ah. Well even so I mostly want it for the movies and probably wouldn’t watch many of the features anyways. Six films on Blu-ray plus digital for $15 and change is pretty good considering I don’t own any of them.

Its a great price for sure. But, and I know it’s been mentioned before, the upgrades on the first two films are substantial on the UHD. The first film Blu looks practically DVD quality.

Amazon has price matched Best Buy's early Blu-ray / UHD sales, if others prefer shopping at Amazon.

I believe the Spielberg set has the older remaster, and the set does not have the 4K disc. Just to clarify.
