It's a really nice set. Got it for $20 way back in 2012 at Best Buy during a Black Friday deal I think. The extended cut and the extended cut with alt ending really make the movie shine even more.

Agree 100%-like the extended version with alternate ending myself. Maybe it’s me but I admired the 180 degree alternate ending of Kevin Smith’s “Clerks X” dvd. Yeah it’s dark but so unexpected.

However, this time they're actually matching, -19.99. Usually they "match" by making the price 22.97.

Some were even less like Belle De Jour ($15.99), Amarcord ($17.99), and Blue is the Warmest Color ($12.49).

And others have coupons. Dressed to Kill is $20 but has a $4 coupon, so...$16!

The Ingmar Bergman BD set is $149.99 and there's a $18 off coupon to bring that total down!

Where did you find the coupon? (Or is it already gone?)

It's right there on the product page. It's an Amazon coupon.

It's highlighted in green on the page. There's a lot of random coupons around on a variety of items, -but you have to look for them.

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

The pattern of the "coupons" seems to be a PM of sorts to Target. The post coupon prices match the per-item price if 3 at the same price were purchased in Target's B2G1 sale. For Amazon it seems to serve the purpose of including them in the sale while reducing the number of qualifying 3 for 2 items making it more difficult to find 3 "good" matching titles.

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

Police Story 1/2 had a $5 coupon; Show Boat and Destry Rides Again I think each had a $2 code. Bummer the Bruce Lee set only has $1.83... --Peter

It also serves the purpose of limiting takers for the coupons, because services like 3Camel won’t trigger price alerts.
