Bah, it would be nice if they ever offered a deal for renewals instead of just new subscribers, but I guess they figure we are already hooked and will pay full price regardless.

I believe you can send a gift subscription to yourself, which you can later use to renew...

They're definitely advertising that you can send a gift subscription with the sale. But perhaps you can't send it to yourself? I suppose SD and FW are discussing it in great detail, if anyone wants to research it. I actually decided I'm going to let my Prime lapse. It expires in February. I didn't use it much this year. I can just get a trial around the holidays next year...

Planet of the Apes LEgacy COllection on Blu-ray is $17.52 on Amazon and you can find one from a 3rd market seller, with Amazon fullfillment (PRIME) and no sales tax (in my state) for $17.50. I went for that one but no rush shipping to get the $1 digital credit.
