I guess this is what happens when Amazon uses "sharing economy" carriers to deliver packages.

It's twIIce as nice!

You can get it for $5.00 at BestBuy.com, if you can find another Sony/Columbia title you want (averaged out from $9.99 apiece) .

I have a couple of cousins working for different FedEx distributors. FedEx is sort of an umbrella company - the actual deliveries are handled by subcontractors. While UPS and USPS pay by the hour, FedEx guys get paid by the package. Delivery persons receive no benefits and no overtime, so the per-package payment is the only compensation they get.

Obviously, this is not a recipe for safe and careful deliveries. Especially during this time of year, when delivery quotas are jacked up through the roof.

My cousins are older gents like myself who take more than a modicum of pride in their work, but even they are under a huge amount a pressure to "dump and run" during the holiday season. The young guys who make up the bulk of the delivery teams? Forget about it.

I always put my outgoing mail in my mailbox. I've been breaking the law so many times. :)

Boy, does this thread go off track, thanks to lack of deals. So here's some - a whole bunch of under $10 Kino releases:

Damn. Good catch. I can finally mark Assassination off my list for a fair price.

Apparently the 3 for $20 deal on Amazon is back, but I can't find an actual link to the list of titles included. The 4K remastered Godzilla blu-ray page shows the deal, but it doesn't link to a list of other titles offered. Anyone find one?

One thing to note with these Kino releases - most of them don't have English sub titles. I was on the fence for 'The Offence' but decided to opt for the Region B Eureka release for around the same price but with sub-titles.

p.s. I'm really getting annoyed that simple catalog titles like Shaft (2000) aren't dropping to $10 like they should. Hell, the BD is like 3 years old now. It should be in the goddamn bargain bin at Walmart. I ended up getting Masters of the Universe under $10 from Canada even after the extra shipping cost.

There are some hard to find titles and/or independent titles, along with some WB titles, that easily make this worth a 3/20 deal.

Thanks, OP.

City of Lost Children and MicMacs are definitely worth $7/each. Good way to flesh out the '90s/2000 2-fer Godzilla films (and Mothra 3-fer). --Peter

Pride and Prejudice is for Prime Members only. Glengary Glen Ross is out of stock but apparently anyone can order.

Wow, even better price for Glengarry Glen Ross than the Black Friday. It's 67cents cheaper. Folks should lock that price in now.

That's a really great deal for Olympus has Fallen.

If you don't have it already and are an over the top action movie fan, it's a must buy.

If you still haven't seen it yet, shame on you.

About a year ago, GoHastings had it for $1.99 shipped. But again there's no more Hastings (really miss them)

If only international sites would discount shipping for Prime members. I'm tired of getting fucked by every Amazon site in Europe. Their "Global Express" option is always DOUBLE the price of Amazon Japan's.
