Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
I guess this is what happens when Amazon uses "sharing economy" carriers to deliver packages.

Is that two copies of Bad Boys 2?

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Yep. Twice the bullshit.

Obviously, this is not a recipe for safe and careful deliveries. Especially during this time of year, when delivery quotas are jacked up through the roof. My cousins are older gents like myself who take more than a modicum of pride in their work, but even they are under a huge amount a pressure to "dump and run" during the holiday season. The young guys who make up the bulk of the delivery teams? Forget about it. |

It's actually illegal for anyone other than USPS to put anything in your mailbox.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Boy, does this thread go off track, thanks to lack of deals. So here's some - a whole bunch of under $10 Kino releases:

http://www.blu-ray.com/deals/?showpr...®ioncoding= Apparently the 3 for $20 deal on Amazon is back, but I can't find an actual link to the list of titles included. The 4K remastered Godzilla blu-ray page shows the deal, but it doesn't link to a list of other titles offered. Anyone find one? |
Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
One thing to note with these Kino releases - most of them don't have English sub titles. I was on the fence for 'The Offence' but decided to opt for the Region B Eureka release for around the same price but with sub-titles.

Damn. Good catch. I can finally mark Assassination off my list for a fair price.

p.s. I'm really getting annoyed that simple catalog titles like Shaft (2000) aren't dropping to $10 like they should. Hell, the BD is like 3 years old now. It should be in the goddamn bargain bin at Walmart. I ended up getting Masters of the Universe under $10 from Canada even after the extra shipping cost. |
Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
There are some hard to find titles and/or independent titles, along with some WB titles, that easily make this worth a 3/20 deal.
Thanks, OP. |
Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
City of Lost Children and MicMacs are definitely worth $7/each. Good way to flesh out the '90s/2000 2-fer Godzilla films (and Mothra 3-fer). --Peter

Wow, even better price for Glengarry Glen Ross than the Black Friday. It's 67cents cheaper. Folks should lock that price in now.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Quantum of Solace and Olympus Has Fallen are both $4 now as well.
|
Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
That's a really great deal for Olympus has Fallen.
If you don't have it already and are an over the top action movie fan, it's a must buy. If you still haven't seen it yet, shame on you. |
