I'd suggest streaming before buying...I liked it, but it's one of those things you may not want to own (meaning it doesn't scream 'multiple viewings').

Thanks! Prebooked for $42.35 (with sales tax). Believe it or not, I've NEVER seen any of these, but I've heard so much about them, I know they're must-sees/own.

It's selling for $79.96 on the Criterion site, so this is a pretty good deal.

They recently did with the "Lone Wolf and Cub" box set, so I don't see why they wouldn't this time around.

I bought it so I hope.Its a good deal but if you compare to a Barnes and Noble sale it would be $50 or $45 with a membership. If you got someone to apply a 20% coupon it would be $36 for a member or $40 without membership.

Finally picked up both The Wire and Sopranos. Came out to $137 and change after taxes with free shipping. Time to retire my DVD sets for both. I'll just donate them all to my local library and give myself a very generous tax write off. :D

If I'm not mistaken, I think that's the lowest prices both sets have ever been.

The Wire last year went down to $59.99, and I got the Sopranos for $89.99. I think these are the lowest so far.
