Not that anyone's actually selling it for $99.99, but this set worked out to about $40 for a few of us at Barnes & Noble with the briefly-available 20% code before the bums nixed the coupons all around (well, at least without all the in-store haggling). Almost seems like beyond these two deals (B&N, Amazon) the only worthwhile future sale on it might be Criterion's own, where folks can at least accrue some points.

I got in on the Pre-order snafu from Amazon on Lone Wolf & Cub, which is great. They haven't shipped it out yet because Amazon is punishing me for not having PRIME -rolleyes-

its got nothing to do with that. Pre-orders are fulfilled in the order in which placed. Its first come-first served

Amazon's free shipping has always been quoted at 5-8 business days, and the set releases today. It's not a punishment at all.

I did not get in on that Lone Wolf snafu but my copy of Taxi Driver and Rush Hour trilogy arrived this morning and I used the no-rush shipping option for the digital credits.

Guess there's no rhyme or reason with shipping on this. Maybe I got in at the tail end of the price error? I'll stop complaining because it was still a kick-ass deal.
