Samson & Delilah - $9.99

This is a price match from Walmart.com, where it can be ordered & shipped to store for free if you don't have Amazon Prime:

F--- it, I just bought both versions of WSS (under $20 shipped for both--no tax on the marketplace order ). I have the three-disc already but it'd be a good gift.

I love even-trade upgrades. :D

Damn, I had a garage sale over the summer with DVDs marked $2 and still couldn't get rid of them!

A dude on the blu-ray.com forum posted an interesting link, so I wanted to copy it here. If you have Prime membership you can score DVDs from Amazon for as low as $1.50 with free Prime shipping, like this one here (just using a random example): amzn.com/B0028OA0D8/

To find more stuff like this, go to sortbyprime.com, select "Movies & TV" in the department drop down and hit Go. You will get a list of all Prime-eligible items in that department sorted by prime price, which is pretty amazing since up until now I was pretty sure Amazon couldn't do it (and I spend a lot of time on Amazon).

That'd be helpful if they actually listed marketplace items, but just listing the crap that Amazon has for really cheap isn't all that interesting.

And I don't see a way to limit it to blu-rays.

The site is definitely a neat tool if you know which keywords to search on.;)

Type Blu-ray under search.

You can do the same thing on Amazon, though, and I got more results that way.

This way you get all listings that have non-Prime offers falling into that price range, which also have other, potentially more expensive offers shipping via Prime.

By selecting "Prime Eligible", it shows only prime shipping fulfilled items. This includes items from sellers other than Amazon (you can further select Amazon.com as the seller if you want), but everything ships via Prime. Results went from 83 with that site to 230 within the $5 and under range.

What you are saying is true for the most part. When you check Prime Eligible Amazon drops all listings without at least one Prime offer. The problem is in the price filter - in your example you'll get products whose lowest offer excluding shipping fall into the price range you specify. Sortbyprime ensures that the price range applies to Prime offers only. The difference is subtle, but significant.

Due to this link, I was able to snag Now You See Me on Blu for a mere $6.73 Like-New copy over Prime. However, I will warn you folks this still takes some patience to go through and Amazon likes to show their Amazon, new price so you still have to click on the titles you may want and then go to their used section. But it is worth checking every so often.

I'd like to use up a $10 Best Buy certificate on Game Of Thrones Season 4, but BB seems to be selling it at $39.99 and Amazon at $34.99. Does BB price match Amazon now, and if so, what do you need to take them?

Lecithin 02-11-15 04:05 PM

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Thanks. That was the Best Buy price on the online sale circular I saw showing the pre-orders with the different covers. I haven't checked recently. Maybe Amazon is matching BB's lower price (which seems more likely the case more often.)

Lecithin 02-12-15 10:08 AM

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Yep, BB now has it at that price, so forget my question, as it is now moot. Ordered at BB with $10 off for store pickup (it WAS free shipping, but now it's below the $35 free shipping minimum price, so you gain some, you lose some..)

The 100 is back at $14.96 matching WalMart

Veronica Mars movie is $9.99 matching Best Buy

Game of Thrones S4 $34.99 matching Best Buy

You sure about that? I only saw it once a couple of years ago and even then it was a lightning deal that sold out fast. I lucked out and got both but don't recall seeing that price again.
