That is a good deal for Curse of Chucky but I want the complete set. Still though at under $5 it seems like a decent pick up and I won't feel too bad about double dipping on the set later.

I brought this deal to the attention of my friend who is a horror nut, and instead of just buying Curse, he decided that the full set was only a little more than a dollar more per movie, and bought that instead.

I Love Lucy season 2 just had a massive price drop to $34.99 at Amazon, check other sellers to get the Amazon price http://www.amazon.com/Love-Lucy-Ulti.../dp/B00WGEAK4O
Season 1 is still in the $20 range. Both sets started at ridiculously high prices.

Not bad, but I'm going to wait until it drops even lower. We may not have to wait that long after all.

Now Andy Griffith is at $18 and change. That's a great deal.

And remember that classic television seasons are much better values than modern shows. There are like 40 episodes in Andy Griffith's first season.

Its a shame that Season 2 will probably be the last season released on blu.

Did anyone here who ordered Chungking Express earlier this month actually get it from Amazon?

Last week I had to approve a revision to my estimated shipping date or my order would've been canceled. I've done that before with other stuff without incident, but considering we knew this was going to be a longshot, it isn't a good sign.

American Ninja: The Ultimate Collection has dropped to $29.99. 4 of the 5 movies are in the collection. Pretend 5 doesn't exist. It's God awful and is an in-name-only sequel made for kids.

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...NL._SY445_.jpg

It's the glorious Cannon films series with Michael Dudikoff and Steve James.

Says it's Region B, however the reviews all say it works on Region A players just fine. This is currently the only collection for it on BD.

Nope. My shipping notice is now revised to:

Spoiler:
June 30th

Not looking good, folks.

But hey, you never know. I got a OOP Hellraiser Box Set from Arrow by just ordering for the hell of it when it showed in stock. Waited a few months, but I got it.

It will be interesting to see if this is a DVD, a totally unrelated item with the wrong bar code, the non Criterion Chunking item, or if Amazon found a box of OOP Bluray items hiding in the corner of the warehouse or the basement of a shipping clerk.

The last 2 OOP or extremely limited quantities items I've ordered from Amazon that were delivered have both been incorrect UPCs

I'm thinking of canceling my order. I stupidly used a $5 promo credit, and a gift card, which I could be using toward something else. If they eventually cancel the order, do you think they'd give us anything for our inconvenience?

all payment charges and application of payment methods occur only upon product shipping. If you cancel, every payment method including credits and promotions will be reinstated. And even if not, its Amazon after all - a simple email will fix things in a flash

It's been my experience that you can go back at any time before an order begins the shipping process and change the payment method on Amazon orders.

Based on past experience (including a note from Amazon yesterday on another long-outstanding order) .... that would be a No ....

Amazon has been taking more and more orders of late they have no chance of fulfilling. They leave more and more products up that are confirmed to be out of print by the manufacturer.

I have some suspicions about this practice but they aren't worth sharing.
