Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Good to know. I just did another quick search of Best Buy's site, and all four are still in stock online, if anyone wants to save themselves a few click battles.

One other thing: I was able to order doubles on some of the Best Buy titles above (and could have on all of them, I'm sure). I don't recall being able to do that on the Amazon LDs, in case folks are looking for extra copies as gifts.

Maaaan.. JW went in less than 10 seconds (I counted before I clicked on the button).

On the wait list, though I'll give up my spot. Just wanted to see how fast it would go.

You cant do doubles on the LDs. Even if you add more once youre in the cart, it will only discount one of the items.

Wow! That was fast for Jurassic World. I got one, but they were 100% claimed in 10 to 15 seconds, at the most.

What's up with Mad Men, Final Season Part Two? I've been able to get all the other seasons over the years in BF (or Xmas) sales. This year, only the DVD is up for sale as far as I've noticed.

Well, as I was saying, in case extras are needed or anyone misses/missed out . . .

Ah, I didn't realize Jurassic World was next up. I got on the wait list but don't mind missing it.

After shopping on the laptop earlier, I expected the phone app deal page to automatically flip like the web version. It didn't for Skyfall, and after I realized I had to click through, I had to join the wait list and didn't get it. Oh well.

The James Bond $99.99 is over. Its now $114.99. They were matching Best Buy. The deal is over at Best Buy so Amazon raised its price.

And in keeping with that, they have all the *other* seasons but the final on Blu for $9.99-$10.99.

Much like television itself, Black Friday sales are now full of repeats.

Having said that, I did bite on the above seasons at that price, to do a long overdue upgrade from DVD. No hurry on the final season sets, they will be on sale eventually.

Raiders of the Lost Ark just lowered to $4.99. Well, that seals the deal. Just ordered the first three films.

$8 at Target and available to order for store pickup at target.com. No Target exclusive to hunt for though.

Noticed that, and was about to post myself.

Looking back I also realized I'd already picked up Mad Men Final Season Part One on Blu on a LD last year for $10. Now I've got to debate whether its worth hauling out to Target when part two is the only thing I'd pick up. Probably not worth it.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Interesting deal: Amazon's running a 30% off promotion for in-print books using code HOLIDAY30. Technically, the DC Hardcover Graphic Novel + Blu-ray/DVD sets released earlier this year register as books instead of movies, so the code can be applied to those. Here they all are, for reference:

An example: Batman: Year One can be had for ~$13.50 after code and tax.

Any idea about the reusability or expiration date on that code..?

Also, when I tried B&W, Doomsday and JLA Earth 2 DID NOT work with code..

EDIT: At least a couple are listed twice - BOOK (with Blu) or BLU (in book packaging). JLA E2 is $21 as a book, $15 as a disc... so compare and contrast warring prices!

Tried to use the Holiday30 code & get this error, "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase".

I posted that coupon code in the book forum. No, it is not reusable and only good for 1 use per account.

If you're trying for the DC book/blu combos, check my comment above. If you're trying to do more than one, it's one use only. Otherwise, if it's a physical book, go to checkout and try again. If it refuses you, or doesn't change the price, fiddle with shipping options and check payment method and the summary of costs - sometimes it doesn't discount the price in every space available; other times it gives you the 30% discount as "promo balance" but may or not correctly apply it..!

I got what you got on a Proper Book, but shifting shipping speed (and back) and clicking payment method (and back) got it applied properly - but only in the righthand summary box: the price for the book in the main window remained the same.

Very odd, but a bit of clicking should fix it. (If it's [counted as] a Proper Book.)
