Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Would be nice if they could list the Saturday/Sunday lighting deals - wants to plan ahead on when I need to be near the computer.
How are those Marvel Of Agents Season Two Sets deals? Half the price would be a deal.
LOL Dark Angel - Season 1/2 Set - $34.95? Should be $9.99-$14.99.
Kingsman: The Secret Service (DVD) - $7.96 - all claimed in two minutes.
Sigh seeing the NYPD Blue set only have the first four seasons - thats one that should have been complete.

Especially considering I have not seen the show before and just picked up season 1 for around $25 a short time back. Looking forward to watching it in the next month.

25th Anniversary Akira is $9.99, and House of Cards 1-3 are $10ea (matching Target, I think).

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Reading a lot of lightning deal commentary around the web and can't help but feel bad for these folks and their complete lack of knowledge of how they work. All this "I had it in my cart before the deal started, but the price never changed" and "I clicked on the button in the first 30 seconds" makes me just shake my head.
I'd write a tutorial, but honestly, my (and others') success with LDs is in part to many not knowing how they work or how to be successful in scoring them. For those that don't understand or have success with them, remember the keyword in all of this is LIGHTNING. It means fast, as in the slower you react, the less of a chance you have to get it.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray
Forgot to set myself a reminder for Mad Max or Outlander.
I might try to drop into a store to check Max this weekend. I might get Outlander digitally or just wait for streaming. White Queen hit Prime right after I bought it, though I don't think DaVinci's Demons or Black Sails have gotten there yet.

Deal of the day is 24.99 for the Jurassic Park collection, including all four movies and extra 3D copies of Park and World. Packaging is crappy, and it's basically the same price as the Blus individually from Best Buy if you're lucky enough to pick them up, but the added 3D is significant.

Since you're here, maybe I can help. I'm not patronizing you or anything, but I want to know what you're specifically doing.

Also helps to know how you're going to pay, etc.
In fact, I even prep myself by practicing adding stuff to my cart, and checking out. I've had some experiences where my mouse wasn't working and just the little things where a 1 or 2 second delay might as well be a few hours in LD World.

Say what you will, but I have had no luck with "lightning deals" for the past two years. However, in the years prior to that I got everything I wanted so I have a pretty good idea what is required. I have started calling these "deals" "lightning gambles" and get them elsewhere if remotely possible.
I just picked up X-Men: Days of Future Past and I had access two minutes before the deal hit the regular site. It was likely gone in a second or two. Unless Amazon adds copies for the regular lightning deal, something I doubt, they would be gone before the deal even started.
Just guessing, of course.
