Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc. There are glitches where sometimes an excluded item will be allowed but assume that is the exception to the rule

Max 3 GC on a single online order.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

If you are a big fan of the film you'll want both so you have both transfers but also for bonus features. The first version was a 2-disc and some of the bonus features were dropped for the single disc remaster. Some of the dropped features pertain to that controversial transfer so it makes sense why they were dropped but there was a 55 minute documentary by the BBC that was also not included.

Yeah, they sold out quickly, but You Only Live Twice also just dropped to $4.99, I wouldn't be surprised if a few other Bond titles went no sale as well, so it might be a good idea to keep an eye on them over the next few days.

Disney WOW World of Wonder (2 disc version) is down to $15.86, a new low. For that price I ordered a copy.

$18 is still pretty good. Looks like the average is $22.14.

I pulled the trigger on the $59.99 price. I’ve only ever seen The Sound of Music, and I’m no stranger to film. I’ve probably just unfairly avoided musicals. I do like Singin’ in the Rain, White Christmas and Cover Girl though so hopefully I’ll dig the R&H stuff as well. At least I can share it with the whole family. It could be that the set is going to come off the “exclusive” market soon. I held off initially because I figured it would eventually wind up on Foxconnect, and I could snag it during one of their random 50% off sales. This may be worthy of its own thread though as a deal.

Rodgers & Hammerstain Collection $49.99!

$49.99 right now! Too bad there are issues with King & I and Carousel, or I'd be all over it.

Whoa. I bought it at $59.99 and contacted them by chat. $10.81 back to me. Thanks! $54.04 shipped for this set is a good deal. Never seen any of the movies, even The Sound of Music.

First time contacting them about a price adjustment for a lower price on their own website. Used their chat. That was a piece of cake.

And I've read extensively about the issues. I think it's more of what a cinephile would notice And someone who has seen them before probably. For someone new to them and who sitll watches SD, I think it's fine enough.

Glad I'm not the only person on the board with an SD TV!

Did the same thing after seeing your post and they approved the refund. Thanks for the quick tip. Even happier with the deal now.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I take image quality issues with a grain of salt. It's probably decent enough and 50 or even 60 bucks for me is a good deal to get to experience these musicals for the first time with some good extras. The SOM BD goes on sale a couple of times a year so I got a CamelX3 deal alert for $20 to pick up that second disc when it dips.

Re: Amazon discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I picked it up at $59.99 and after the price dropped later the same day to $49.99 one email got me the $10 credited back. Kudos to Amazon. I know the PQ will be better than the DVD set, which is all I need to know for this price. If they sell them individually in a corrected version later I might consider replacing the one or two affected if they are bad enough - which I doubt they are.

I don't remember if it was mentioned in here earlier or not. If so, then this is a reminder. The $5 off $25 promo for using the OneButton app ends on 7/15. Can be used once per account. I had issues with IE, but it worked perfectly in Chrome... I uninstalled the extension immediately after placing my order.
