Content- movie and extras- is key for me. I'd buy a Steelbook, but only for something that met the more important criteria.

These days, I rarely buy a BD/DVD if it doesn't have extras. I'd have to friggin' love that movie. Otherwise, I can just go borrow it from the library.

Thought maybe with the new movie coming out next Friday, all the Star Wars steelbooks would be on sale for $9.99 - nope - they are priced at $17.99 each - aside from of course the Star Wars: The Force Awakens one. Should have just picked them up last year when they were priced at $11.99 each. Sigh.

Picked up the $6.99 4 disc Burton/Depp set today. Only complaint is instead of 4 disc holders, there are only 2, with the discs stacked on top of each other. Still 4 br's for $7.00.............

Because of your post I checked online again. Since shortly after it went on sale, that one's not been available for shipping - only store pickup - with none locally in my area. This morning was different as it's now available again for online with free 2-day shipping! I'd have likely not checked again had it not been for your post. Thanks!

Wish I would have waited, though I got lucky & the store pick up wasn't too bad; the only issues were some gang member screaming that I stole his parking spot (I didn't & there was another right next to me...) & I got in the Geek Squad line at first rather the store pickup non-line; it was not at all clearly defined.

Would have been nice to save the gasoline, but I'm happy with the price.

I ordered 2 of the $7.99 steelbooks from bestbuy.com and they were shipped in what amounts to a cardboard envelope with zero padding, which I will never understand. One of the steelbooks was absolutely destroyed - not just badly dented and bent, but also completely came apart at the spine.

I've gotten lucky with their shipped steelbooks before, but this was comically awful. I returned it at my local store for a refund.

I've ordered several steel books from them in the same padding, no complaints here. I got Chinatown the other day with no dents.

This was probably my 6th online order of steelbooks (I always preorder the Marvel ones I want) and it's the first time I've had a problem, but wow, it was a serious problem.
