Wound up purchasing Poltergeist from the flash sale along with a couple of other 3d titles that are also on sale. Plus I added in 2 of the Sony BOGO titles and a couple of movies I had previously purchased over the past couple of days so I could take advantage of the Visa checkout offer($25 off of $100). I will just return the movies I had previously purchased once I have received everything. In the end I got 11 movies for $80.

Will 3d & 4k play at all on a regular 2k 2d br player (Oppo 95)?

Depends. Some 3D discs have a 2D option on the same disc. Some are 3D option only in which case you'll see a message saying your TV isn't compatible. 4K UHD discs won't play in a standard blu player - even Oppo's.

I've noticed most Warner's 3D's have both 2D/3D on one disc. And they detail it fairly easily on the back of the artwork like on Polar Express.



Also, so far all UHD sets include standard blu-ray. So there's that. And to date, only Sony releases (Ghostbusters remake, Angry Birds) include both 4K UHD and 3D. Star Trek Beyond had an Amazon exclusive with both as well.

I had some stuff already ship as well. There are a few more items that show as preparing, and I think one title still has an estimated deliver of Jan. 3. Not a big deal to me. I'm not in a big hurry.

I ordered my stuff in the wee hours of Thanksgiving morning (Crimson Peak and Legend (Tom Hardy) on BD, Steve Jobs on DVD) and it just came today...and it shipped from Kentucky, and I live in Ohio. ???

That being said, their customer service has been better, and that's still pretty fast and free shipping.

Well my ASH VS. EVIL DEAD arrived with one of those damned Best Buy stickers right over the lenticular cover. Guess that's the price you pay for getting it so cheap.

Try the Goo Gone. Let it set for 24hrs and it just peels off with just a little residue on the cover.

If you don't have goo gone, use a hair dryer. It will loosen up the glue and it should peel right off.

At least yours had a slipcover, mine didn't. I'm not one that's usually that worried about slipcovers but this one looked pretty cool.

Yes, I'm aware of the magic of Goo Gone...I'm just ticked I have to go buy some now. I wish I'd remember why I never order from Best Buy. They also had this and another Blu-ray I ordered (Tarzan 3D) jammed so tightly into one of their pouches that I literally had to cut the pouch down the side with scissors to get the Blu-rays out.

i just said fuck it with the stickers. it used to bother me, but now, what can you do. sometimes BB is the only way to go and i'm not going to pay more or out of my way just for some silly sticker on the slipcover...
