Yeah Amazon is pretty good concerning returns. Especially if you ask for a replacement, I don't see why they would flag you. And even if you didn't, there would be plenty of fair reasons to ask for a refund (like purchased for a gift and waiting for a replacement would take too long?).

Amazon is fantastic about things like that. I bought a comedy (Waiting...) on blu-ray in July of 2009, and never opened it until November of 2011...only to find there was no disc inside at all, just a blank case. I emailed Amazon about it, and they actually overnighted me a replacement...two and a half years later! Love Amazon.

Their CS was GREAT for me yesterday. The GOT Blu that I pre-ordered never showed up. Jumped online yesterday afternoon and messaged their online CS who asked if I wanted a refund or a new set. Opted for a new set and within minutes a new order was processed. Shipped overnight and should be at my door when I get home. LOVE Amazon.

Wow. I have always wondered about that. I have lots of unopened titles, as many of us do, but always worry about what to do if an issue is discovered. I always just assumed I'd go straight to the manufacturer. Nice to know Amazon is that awesome...

The bubble mailers are the worst. I try to bundle several things (or even just 2) together, hoping that they arrive in a box. I've gotten quite a few damaged items from them due to poor packaging, but Amazon is good about returns, fortunately.

That is what I do, I trash the DC copy and put in the DVD. If it comes with a DVD, then I give away the old one or sometimes sell them to Amazon. Other then that, they are not worth the time.

Great price on the Vengeance Trilogy. Been hovering around $40-ish for weeks but just dropped to $29.99 from Amazon. Even cheaper ($24.99 w/Prime) with a third party seller.

Finally pulled the trigger on the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy. Its went down about $25 or so in the past few weeks and been dropping everyday. I'm sure it will probably drop to under $40 now that I finally purchased. But, had I waited it would have probably jumped back up in the $60 range. Hope I enjoy it as I'm a huge fan of the Fincher film.

Seriously! I love cigars, but that's nuts. I'm not sure how much Daniel Marshall humidors cost. Still, I was going to throw down that kind of money, it probably wouldn't have the scent of cheap movie promotional item attached to it.

I'd hold off on buying this "set". Reading some of the reviews, people are getting two copies of one movie, and one of another. And no lossless audio. I'm gonna pass on this one or get the movies separately.

Read that too. The audio isn't an issue for me, but a disc mix-up will definitely have the package going back. $29.99 was my price point, so $24.99 w/free ship was a no-brainer.
