Great deal on QUO VADIS, which is a fantastic Blu and movie. Also GODS AND GENERALS Blu book seems the lowest it's ever been?

Not if the movie sucked.

It is, but it's weird that they have two separate listings both listed as the book, which I think is in error. (The accompanying pic does not show a digibook on the $9.99 one). The book dropped to $15.99 a while ago; I suspect the $9.99 price is for the bookless version.

Actually, it isn't--regardless of performance opinion. You can currently get it for $9.99 on the same site. But feel free to pay $5 more, just for proving me wrong.

It appears that Lizard posted two versions of this title -- one for $9.99 (no supplemental features) and one for $14.99 (with supplemental features.)

So I guess there is a question as to which version is a great deal, and another question as to whether the movie sucked. Perhaps the more relevant question is to whether the supplements are worth $5 if you are interested in the movie.

Actually the $9.99 version does have features. It contains all of the NEW Bonus Material which is the NEW introduction and the ALL-New Commentary.Not sure if the older 90 minutes of commentary is included on this cheaper version or not


The $15.99 version contains the book (the $9.99 version should not have book packaging. that is incorrect in the title) and the older video based bonus features on the 2nd disk: 3 making of /historical featurettes (which add up to 50 minutes all together), Bob Dylan,music video (Only 1 music video is included on the new Extended version even though 2 were on the DVD version and the theatrical cut Blu) and a 7 minute additional featurette and a trailer.


Hope this helps. Seems silly of WB for these 2 different releases. I may bite on the $9.99 version since I have the old DVD with the other bonus material and dont care about book too much.

Are we talking about Gods & Generals or Contagion or both?

I think theWitcher's post is about Contagion, not Gods and Generals, so I think there's some cross-talk going on here.

Crazychris88's detective work confirms what I suspected about Gods and Generals; no digibook included for $9.99 (or DVD-based extras either). Both versions appear to be as cheap as they've been on the site.

I picked up the featureless Contagion for that price. Great deal.

NAVARONE matches the Black Friday price at B&N. Great deal for an excellent old school action epic.

I just could not see myself getting it. But at that price, guess it's time to upgrade my 3 DVDs of this one.

Amazon just had to have another UCE box set, I really need to stop buying these. Will be here later on today.

Damn, this price came at the worst possible time for me. I just watched the pilot over the weekend and 46 Long the night before and was surprised at just how shitty they looked. Had to get season 1 and season 6 parts 1 & 2.
