And I feel much the same about Braveheart: I wouldn't watch it if you paid me. Nevertheless, I purchased the set for $13.99 and sold Braveheart for $10.70 (net), reducing the cost of Gladiator to $3.29, a bargain price by my standards, albeit a bit more hassle.

Ugh! I had no idea this was a gold box deal and only valid for january 1st. Damn, I got a rude awakening this morning when I saw the price jump as I was about to purchase it. Guess I have to wait and not sleep on a deal like this again.

Yeah, I'm starting to buy 3D versions instead, in preparation to upgrading to a new 3D projector sometime this year, so I need to resist this good deal. The 3D version is only $32.99 :P about double my current price point.

Sucker Punch was released by Warner, which is extremely strict on DC expiration dates.

I find that the 3D titles very rarely go lower then their release week pricing... sadly $25~ is about my average

The number of price drops that occurred overnight is huge. There was a batch around midnight Pacific and more around 2:00-3:00 A.M. Pacific. It's about thirteen pages' worth at blu-ray.com. Good luck to lizard if he wants to tackle this.

Thank you! I need to go through that list and make sure I redeem any titles I own (except for expired WB codes)

Puss in Boots 3D dropped to $29.99, and the $5 coupon is still valid (softpaws). Just ordered for $24.99. Hope it drops another 5 bucks before release...

I know. I'm off from work and have Christmas money sitting in the bank. Here's where it begins to disappear.

They dropped 3 titles I'd been watching closely for about a week at least $5 each, how am I supposed to say no?

re: Amazon Blu-ray Discounts and Deals Thread #27

Just went to buy Get Low and saw that it has the $4 Amazon Instant Video credit promo attached to it. Was just looking around the site to see if there's a link that shows other titles that might have that promotion, but I can't find one. I'm guessing it's on there somewhere, but for those interested in these offers, keep an eye out as sometimes I've gotten these credits for buying something and didn't even realize I had them until later.
