I am slightly disappointed that I now know wtf that movie was about. Kind of wanted to figure that out myself. I'm not one to bitch about spoilers when it's in the review thread but it bothers me here though.
Well, I did say temporary ban and it's no more a "bitch move" than spoling the end of the movie. I think it's a fair punishment for being an asshole. There's a reason the boards have spolier options. However, I was pissed off when I suggested the ban and have since calmed a little so whatever happens is fine and I'll say no more about it.

You don't need to watch this terrible film anyway. Waste of time.

If this is your attitude and you don't have a problem with spoiling plot points in these threads, welcome to the wonderful world of being ignored by me. Your posts are no longer welcome as far as I'm concerned.

Uh. No. Banning is for something "worse" than spoiling a movie. You know why? Cuz it's a fucking movie. Again stupid move on his part but really to ban a guy for spoiling a movie? That's a bitchy thing thing to do.

I wouldn't suspend him either. I'd just call him a dumb fuck for spoiling and then move on. Jesus. Banning...pft.

I think that might depend on how long BB's return window is. If it hasn't elapsed, you might be able to return.

I agree that banning seems extreme, but I'm a little surprised that after Scott got called out for threadcrapping, he followed up with a major spoiler (then he puts something else in spoiler tags). He hasn't even had the courtesy to edit his original post to put that point in spoiler tags.

I bought The Green Hornet for $3.99, just for the hell of it.

The George C. Scott version of a Christmas Carol is now $9.99. I'm pretty sure that's the cheapest it's been on Amazon. I know I've had it in the saved portion of my cart for more than a year waiting for a cheaper price.

Thanks to those who have mentioned the 3.99 Executive Decision deal. I don't think I own this movie in any format, and the 3.99 price was being hidden by other sellers.

Thanks, must have missed that. Not a critical purchase for me, but one day...

I ALMOST did that. I've already blown so much in a week...what's $3.99 (plus tax) more, right?

I paid $14.99 for it when it was a Best Buy exclusive the week it came out. Yeah I feel kind of dumb now for doing it. But, overall it's one of the best Post Pre-9/11 Terrorism action movies.

Well, as we all know, you can always wait and most likely get a better price. Sometimes I regret it if it's still unopened when a better price comes along, but oh well, it's not something I'm going to lose sleep over. In fact, I like the movie so much, I'm going to post a huge f-ing spoiler for it here in the bargains thread! Or maybe not.

Yup, then it went to $99.99 then $139.99, I have it saved in my cart; I was hoping for a good deal on this along with that Band of Brothers special boxed set but no dice on either so far.

Same here. I now have the feeling $70 was as good as it got for now.
