The Town (Two-Disc Extended Cut) is $7.99 but there's an Ultimate Collector's Edition coming in March.

Wow, lots of price drops overnight!

You can add Fellowship of the Ring theatrical to the $4.99 titles and Coraline, King Kong (Jackson), and Return of the King theatrical to the $7.99 titles.

Digibooks: A Clockwork Orange is now $14.49 and The Outlaw Josey Wales is $16.99.

Lion King BD/DVD dropped again, this time to $16.99; likewise On Stranger Tides two-disc combo.

Star Wars original trilogy set is $29.99.

Also:
$7.99 Dune
$9.99 Warners include Forbidden Planet, Gremlins, How the West Was Won (BD case), L.A. Confidential, Poltergeist (BD case), Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Wizard of Oz single disc
$12.49 Once Upon a Time in America

Just a taste of what's out there! Have fun...I've got some Visa points to spend myself.

If I'm going to buy a TV series, it's gonna have to be below $10 for me. Went ahead and got three seasons of Mad Men from Best Buy as I just don't want to wait for a deal to come up on Amazon at some point. Would be nice to see Supernatural at $9.99 or less!

Mad Men is the only tv show on blu I've seen at $9.99 or below. I think 60% off is the best you're gonna get for Supernatural.

Same here only when it comes to the 3D discs sets. I want that. Lion King & Cars 2 look really nice.

Weeds goes on sale at various places below $10 during BF week the last few years. Just ordered S6 from BB to complete my collection. Supernatural won't go that low.

Vampire Diaries: Season Two on DVD and Crazy, Stupid, Love on Blu-ray both dropped to the prices I was aiming for. Yep, I may not leave the house tomorrow.

GL is a hard one for me, being a big fan of GL and Comics. This one is and has to be the hardest movie I had ever try to buy. I have never seen it all the way to the end.

GL at that price is hard to resist I would have picked it up if I did not have it.

$15 is my tops, right now they have all two and a half men (pickup sesaon 7 for $10 the other day) for $12.99. May pickup 2 sets. Wonder if they are going to be onsale for a bit longer?

Passed on Starwars (hard to do). The Box set comes (I think?) with the extra Blu-ray.

Is everyone else going through and buying things one by one to maximize mp3 credits? I assume they'll be combining orders together. I kinda almost think I'm taking advantage of them however, I would think they had thought out this scenario so I'll continue to do so.

So far I have yet to see anyone take the credit, or post saying they did (just the thread).

I've gotten offers for the credits but am not taking them. Downloaded music is probably about 2% of my collection, and I can't count the number of credits I've gotten for buying CDs from amazon that I've simply let expire.

Part of the issue has been that, until this promotion, I'd usually only have a buck or two in credit at a time, and I have little interest in downloading individual songs. The biggest part, however, is that I vastly prefer physical media over digital.

So I'm taking the faster delivery over the mp3s.

Which reminds me...I bit on King Kong 2005, Lion King (it will probably go to $14.99 tomorrow lol), and Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

Resisted Kong until now, since most of the special features from the DVD releases are not on the BD. But for $7.99, I'll gladly take both cuts with seamless branching and (so I've heard) great picture and audio.

Be careful about ordering Sucker Punch. Looks like Amazon doesn’t have the one that includes the DVD & DC anymore. I’ll pick up that one at Best Buy over the weekend.

I'm glad they don't. I have no need for the DVD or DC so $7.99 for the 2-disc set is nice.

I believe the single disc version isn't the Extended one though.

EDIT: Oops, nevermind. I guess that's not the case anymore given the listing. I didn't know that changed.

I have been; I've done it for each of my Blu-ray orders, which is about 5 of them now. No reason to pass up free credit, IMO

I actually cancelled an order to re-order to get the credit. Out of habit I was just clicking through without looking at everything. I didn't notice the credit offer until my second order. I will be ordering things separately though to maximize credit.

Same goes with buying movies and getting a credit to download the movie you just bought on Blu/DVD

Is Transformers at $11.99 and Transformers: ROTF at $10.99 a good buy? Or are these candidates for further price cuts? I don't think I've seen them at a lower price this year but it goes against my rule of $10 maximum for non-new release Blu-rays and it seems that most older titles eventually go to the $8 range.

Yeah, those usually expire too lol. Occasionally there will be something my kids will want to watch so I'll let them use the credit for that. And I have a lot of unused digital copies, although I've started to be more attentive to things like the Disney ones since the kids may have interest in those.
