Yes, but those are the Lightning Deals (limited time offers) only. The link is in post #109 in this thread.

Amazon typically puts many more titles on sale throughout the week that are not part of the Lightning Deals. You have to scout around to find them.

I wouldn't be surprised if price drops occur after midnight Pacific time tonight; I remember waking up on Monday last year to a slew of cheap BDs.

Thanks! I visit Amazon everytime but somehow missed this. Also previous thread pointing this deal. Before we have a separate BF thread for this, I think that would be useful.

Hmmm, I've included quote from post #225 from Dfmaverick2 but somehow it doesn't show in my response.

Im with you David, 400%. In all honesty, if $80 a year is too much to bare to pay for Amazon Prime, its quite possible that folks shouldnt be shopping on Amazon in the first place. Either suck it up and throw the Prime charge on a CC or at the bare minimum, just sign up for the 30-day trial and cancel after the fact.

Its really not that complicated.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread, but Super 8 BD is now $19.99 at Amazon.com

If you use the coupon code WOODWARD, it gives you a $5 discount. $14.99, no tax and free shipping with Amazon Prime is awesome.

I picked up LoTR since it seems like a great price. Sweeter with the $25 GC I had lying around.

Not for my shelves. They're just a tad too high to fit. Easy fix though, I store them horizontally but it doesn't look as nice.

Yeah, great deal for a week 1 release of a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. Pretty good movie too, though not as good as I'd hoped it would be. Worth a blind buy at $14.99 for anyone that hasn't seen it, I think.

How tight do you have the shelves. I can fit the BBV cases and the digis.
The Exorcist is barely bigger than a regular case.

Good point! My doctor likes to remind me that every day I'm just that much closer to death.

It might be $10 or $15 cheaper next year, but then my eyes will be that much weaker and my tv that much less plasma-rich and, well, how many more times can I watch the full saga? Time to upgrade my extended DVD.

But it sure better be a LOT better than DVD. I got pulled in on the theatrical/extended versions there and was not happy to have to rebuy for the extended. Learned my lesson after Fellowship.

Enjoy!

I figured Amazon would do that since it's in Target's ad. Since I'm Prime-less and BF deals start tomorrow morning, I was hoping to wait to order Super 8 with the $5 off coupon until tomorrow morning when there's a $4.99 Lightning Deal BD I want. Of course I'd still be some pennies short because I assume for Super Saver shipping it has to be $25 after the $5 coupon? Of course I have the risk that they will end the coupon at midnight tonight and I wouldn't have time to get the $5 credit in the 10 minute Lightning deal window, so I'd have to hope to get it afterwards.

I just have the gut feeling that Amazon will end the coupon tonight (because I want to buy it tomorrow) in spite of the date on that 1 page.

You do realize that the BBV cases are just DVD cases with the actual BD case-size insert stuck with booger glue to a blue piece of paper, right? Meaning you can take out the insert, separate the BD-insert from the paper, and stick the insert and the disc in a BD case, and it'll look like a normal BD.

I do, I worked in one. That would also mean I would have to buy the cases and I don't care to do that.
Anyway the digi books are barely bigger than a regular blu case so I still wonder what the shelves Pizza has his cases jammed into.

Mañana do you not have a Target near you? $14.99 before tax with printable coupon.

Amazon uses the pre-coupon price for free shipping, meaning $25-$5 for a total of $20 would get free shipping

lol, I can't speak for the poster, but I am pretty sure their implied response was "no."

Out of curiosity, why would you think a complete stranger online would give you free access to their Prime membership?

Hmm, they jumped The Fighter back up to $21.99 after lowering to $10.99 earlier. I hope they reduce it again; I held off thinking it might go lower later in the week...

I made and added extra shelves to my bookcase for Blu-rays to max it out. No extra space! But, I can sure pack em in. I use to store the digibooks horizontally but have since moved them to another area in their own grouping.

I don't get access to anything all I get is free shipping and all i'm asking for is 1 week. It would be fine if amazon didn't screw the customers by having them all on sale at different times so you have to pay shipping for each item you buy. When I had amazon prime I had strangers use it to. Not everybody is a selfish prick like you

Question on the double feature BLUs - do the 2 movies come in 2 discs or are they crammed into 1 disc? Are special features lost or are they the same as the regular blu-Ray if one of the titles was released individually?

You wouldn't be screwed if you had PRIME. Look into it. Pays for itself easily.

I'd rather be a "selfish prick" than a name calling, cheap SOB begging for handouts on an internet forum. Low class.
