And as stated before, you only get Amazon VOD credit to buy that specific title. I once foolishly thought it could be used for anything or VOD rentals. And if you have leftover credit from buying your specific title on sale, you can't use that credit for anything else. You have to keep really good track of your Amazon VOD credits because of this. Supposedly you can get iTunes credit too. I got a few movies but haven't gone through all of my discs yet as I'm hoping Paramount will keep this going for a while.

People should know both of these discs are available at Walmart in a display for $5 apiece. Amazon is never that competitive with Echo Bridge BDs on pricing against retail stores.

Yes, I placed my order on May 14th after the coupon deal was first announced by IDrinkMolson here. I then set a calendar reminder to cancel it a few days before shipping unless it came down some more but decided to let it stand after reading reviews and seeing that the market price was still pretty high. The $4.97 price match drop was a bonus.

Do you know when exactly Amazon dropped their price to 39.99? I've tried looking at camelcamelcamel, but can't find it. I contacted Amazon for a refund of the 4.97 but they rejected it, even though there is no reason to reject it. I'm trying to get exact dates so I can send them the details.

Now they credited me ANOTHER $4.97, so I got $9.88 in credits! Combine those with the Gold Box discount, and I paid only $17.83 for mine!
I feel slightly guilty about the double-credit, but it was their mistake... They should have seen the other credit on the order already...
