Re: Big Lots Blu-rays
Not blu ray but seen my bl had some shows dvd with so many seasons or just 1 from 5 to 15 bucks. i made sure to snag any first season for 5 really wanted and others idk. but i was adviced u snag when u can or hope still there later if u go back and if can get then cool and it was ment to be at time. i mean before bl or other places some or most tv seasons cost way more at walmart or other places so bl is a good deal anytime if u like the show that much. also nice when show got extra so can check out anytime. last went got - hogans heroes, i love lucy season not sure which of hand, csi first season original that started the spin offs and gomer pyle. others i saw was a chance but not real interest but can try score if still there later. seen other shows bigger so cost more but they sold of course cause collectors or resellers by chance.

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays
My local store had a ton of discounted BDs in their display, more than I've ever noticed before. Most were previously $5, but now marked down to $2.50, $1.50 or 75 cents in some cases. Everything that was discounted had been there for a bit. Makes me hopeful they're wanting to clear some space for some new stuff. I picked up Hondo for $1.50.
When I checked out, my receipt had a $10 off $40 coupon attached. So now I have that, the 20% coupon mentioned above and a $5 off $15.

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays
I think they try clear stuff out as i have scored some clearance dvd when i find any tagged the orange tag to try get rid of any stuff they try get gone. so to discount the blu rays means they try get rid of some or many to make room for new stuff they got by chance and for any new they might get later. i by chance scored some good stuff any trip and even some i skip i seen again and rest trafic snag for any reason. i scored hondo in dvd 3 or 4 pack awhile back but have seen it in blu ray at times. i not got blu ray player but i try score any combo with dvd by chance anytime i real want dvd.

I've seen all those except for the NCIS: 5-8. And that's the one I'd be most interested in. I just checked and I own 1-4 & season 9. It seems meant to be!

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays
Seen csi miami with a few seasons for 10 to 15 buck and those sold. they still got csi ny 1 or 2 copys with season for 10 or 15. a season 1 of san fransico for 5 i think and then hogan heroes copy if first season. while back i snag first sea of original csi first season , wild wild west first sea, and hogan heros 1 season. i guess if come alot seasons they become resellers and charge more lol. also they had beverly hil billies season 1 or more and it sold after seeing first time. not sure how they deice to price the shows but collectors or resellers may snag any later. even seen season of dallas i think old and new series on clear and becker season still 3 or 5 bucks for it. i just wont snag if so much and no interest really. can only guess anyone who go to biglot for media check back and wait till stuff cheaper as clearance then snag for own want or resell later. so they do get some good stuff that i snag anytime before others snag for own or gain later. just not sure when they add more new or re tag to get rid of stock any. and not sure how they decide what to clear anytime. wish was able score a nice stack they just wanna get rid of any lol like i see other post in a forum before lol. i mean why not free and save a few bucks.

I need to try to use the 20% off coupon tomorrow (last day). I'm only going to the closest store to home, though.

In case anyone is interested, the 20% off coupon will combine with one of the $5 off of $15 coupons. I made sure the 20% was scanned first and the remaining total was still over $15.
Picked up the steelbook BD of Serenity. It's been on the shelf for quite a while, so it's possible I (or someone else has) have mentioned it before.

The $5 off $15 "loyalty" coupons stack with everything so far - even themselves. As you've said, the trick is to present any others first to be sure your total is still high enough to get maximum benefit. There have been a few times I've had 3 of those at once and stacked them to get $15 off $25 (more like $15 off $28 as I went over a bit in case something rang up lower than expected).
When I checked out this weekend I got a "Bounce Back" (I think that's what it was called) $10 off $40 register coupon. I'm expecting a "loyalty" one, maybe two concurrent, before that one expires.

So the $5 off $15 (and even multiple of those) might stack with that one as well? I've got another $5 off $15 now and expect one will show up on Friday too.
If so, good to know!

I think those $10 off $40 are at the end of every receipt currently (expiring 10/7, I think).

Re: Big Lots Blu-rays
Brand new cardboard display at my store (placed beside the ones currently up). It's hard to miss with a big bright red sign advertising "movie night" for $3 or $5.
Packed tight with DVDs and BDs. Some horror stuff for $3 and other titles at $5. Nothing that I had to pick up. In fact, I already owned ones that might have been of interest (Misery & Training Day, for example, at $5)
I was most interested in some of the DVDs. A 6 film Boris Karloff collection for $5 and the 5th season of the Gene Autry Show, for example.
