Put the disc in your computer, and follow the simple instructions. It can and most likely will download into iTunes in my experience.

I see it's on amazon for $18.99 (I'm still in my free Prime trial, so no shipping).

Do Walmart/Target/Best Buy/Kmart usually return holiday Blurays/Dvds to the vendors, or do they get clearaced after the holidays?

(I know that KB Toys used to mark some down and return some).

Anyone know of a better deal on it?

Thanks in advance.
They won't get clearenced. They will either be sent back to their corporate warehouse via a product withdrawal, or stored in the backroom until next year.

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon

Just wondering, is it safe to say any copy of Fifth Element that is out there would be the remastered Blu-Ray and not the original. Is there something I should be looking for on the packaging to know the difference? I ask because it is in the Meijer's ad for $13 so planned on pricematching it and getting it for $8 then at Target if it is in the store.

A quick search of the HD forum contains the answer-

That's what I figured, thanks!

I guess Amazon's $18.99 is the best deal I'm going to get then.

I think with a title like A Charlie Brown Christmas, it will probably stay on the shelves year-round. I remember seeing that all the time throughout the year.

Any coupon you print yourself could be rejected. All I can say is that my friend used the Fight Club coupon on Friday and was successful.

Question for those of you who have found Shaun of the Dead at Target:

Where was it located? Main Blu-ray aisle, end cap?

I've been to multiple Targets and can't even find a shelf tag.

As mentioned above, you just insert the digital copy disc into your computer's CD or DVD drive and follow the directions. Have handy the insert that contains your digital copy code, as you'll need that to authorize the download into iTunes. Just remember, you can only authorize the download once. After you've transferred it to your PC, you can then sync to your iPod, iPhone or other gadget the same way you sync any other movies in iTunes.

And, in case you're unaware of it, you can also sign up for a free Disney Movie Rewards account (disneymovierewards.com). The same code you enter for your digital copy download can be entered there to earn 125 points (which can be accumulated and redeemed for free stuff), and Disney has also started a new program where, after you enter an eligible code (and Up is such a title), you are granted access to watch the movie online from your Disney account! (Plus, for $6.00 shipping, once you enter the Up code, you qualify to receive a free plush Baby Kevin.)

YMMV, but...I know for a fact that last week, my local Walmart moved their Christmas DVD's from the holiday display in front of electronics to lawn and garden. Whether there was a discount in place, I cannot say as I didn't attempt to purchase any of them, but it's worth taking a gander.

There is a general lack of information concerning a lot of aspects of these transactions. One thing that would help a lot of us is if retailers would explain web coupons to all their cashiers. I'm getting tired of being scrutinized as though I'm trying to pass of a Photoshop project as a legitimate coupon. It also seems pretty simple to me that they should be capable of having a simple, easy-to-understand, posted policy vis-a-vis price-matching, coupons and sale prices at all registers. Something like:

"It is our policy to accept only one manufacturer's and one store coupon per item. We will gladly match the current advertised price of our competitors, but regret that we cannot accept store coupons for such transactions."

And just what is this nonsense of expecting consumers to bring in advertisements for the purpose of price-matching, anyway? Even my local Walmart--and you'd be hard pressed to find a less helpful department--has taken to simply keeping on hand a copy of each of their competitors's ads next to the register. If I want to price-match, I simply tell the cashier which ad has the item, they pull out the ad, confirm that what I've said is legit, and away we go.

Like other Wal-Mart deals, it's YMMV. I've tried twice at two different locations since the coupon popped up, but no dice.

My Meijer had Fifth Element and a bunch more for $10 despite the fact the ad stated $13.

Does Best Buy Pricematch the $5-off Target Coupon??

I think I read somewhere on this thread or another that someone was able to get their Best Buy to accept the $5-off Target Blu-ray coupon. I know it's pretty much YMMV, but I was wondering if many of you have tried and what the outcome was?

If I'm lucky, I hope to use the $5-off at Best Buy today to get Band of Brothers ($37.50 - $5) and Donnie Darko ($9.99 - $5)

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon

Walmart matched the Target coupon, it wasnt easy though. I ordered District 9 on their site to take advantage of the bing cash back, when i emailed them the first time they said they do not match online stores, I had to tell them Target is not an online store and the coupon was for in store only. Then they sent me another email that was automated with information on a variety of issues but none addressing the coupon. I emailed them again, informing them that the automated response had nothing to do with the question and they finally issued me a human generated response with the $5 discount applied.

Actually, I've bought holiday related movies on their clearance shelves with the other holiday stuff. So maybe, maybe not.

Re: Does Best Buy Pricematch the $5-off Target Coupon??

I was one that had BB match the Target coupon. I was making a return for an item and asked if they would accept the coupon, and he said that they typically didn't do that. I showed him the coupon and he then said that he could. Of course - this is a big YMMV.

I may try it again, if I make it back to BB before it expires - I have bought so much over the past month that I really don't need anything more. I think I have more unopened blu's than opened ones at this point - I really need to get caught up on some of these....

If you're a Costco member, you can get BoB for $29.99 though December 24. I was able to PM Donnie Darko at Target a couple of weeks ago and walked out with it for $4.99(Best Buy had it in their sales flyer for $9.99). If this applies to you, this would probably be an easier way of obtaining these two titles.

I've struck out twice this weekend at Costco. Both Costcos I went were sold out of BoB. I went to the Costco in Yonker, NY on Friday and the Costco in Waterbury, CT last night (Sunday). No dice!! I'm still pissed!!

I could always order it from Amazon UK for $30, but I have a (receipt-less) return to make at Best Buy and will try to use the store credit towards BoB. I will of course also try and PM the Target coupon. Wish me luck. I will report back...

I used a Target coupon at Wal-mart last night to get Starship Troopers for $8 (plus tax). Since Customer Service was closed, I asked the cashier at the self-checkout lanes whether WM took other stores' coupons and she said yes. I then showed her the coupon, explained that it was for any Blu-ray Disc (not Transformers), and she took it. As always, YMMV, but it IS store policy to accept competitor's coupons.

Also picked up Die Hard for $10 and Point Break for $7 at Target, in addition to Master and Commander ($10), The Terminator ($5), and Star Trek ($15) earlier this month. Like others, I am going to miss this coupon now that it is about to expire. I'm going to give my remaining two copies to a friend in case she wants some gifts for her husband.

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon

Great guys. Thanks for the replies. I'm wanting to use the coupon on District 9 tomorrow and use up what little I have left on a Walmart gift card. I'll give it a go and if not, Target's right down the street.

I got accused of coupon fraud when I tried to use the Snatch $5 coupon last week. Person at customer service said it was a photocopied coupon and refused to scan it. Escalated this to a manager who went to discuss this with some security manager, and they also refused to accept the coupon.

Anyone else have this problem before trying to use the Snatch coupon? Ended up not buying it because I couldn't use it. I'm not sure how to prove to them that it was a genuine coupon.

I would've one-upped them and escalated it to their Regional Manager or General Manager. Them not accepting Manufacturer's Coupons is not acceptable.
