Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon
Took final advantage of this great coupon today, on Shaun of the Dead. (I'd pick up District 9 tomorrow, but it's already on the way from Amazon.)
Many thanks again for this deal, OP.

Just got back from Best Buy (62nd & Broadway - NYC). They would not accept the Target coupon.
But they did let me exchange an unopened Wii game (w/o receipt) for $40 credit which I used to pay for BoB in full. I actually have $2.50 leftover on the card. SCORE!!!!

Can you answer my question?

Ah, I didn't see your question before. It was in the main section, toward the bottom, clearly marked with a sale sign. Note that I didn't see it at a smaller Target, but had luck at a Super Target that had a much larger Blu-ray selection

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon
I got accused of coupon fraud when I tried to use the Snatch $5 coupon last week. Person at customer service said it was a photocopied coupon and refused to scan it. Escalated this to a manager who went to discuss this with some security manager, and they also refused to accept the coupon.
Anyone else have this problem before trying to use the Snatch coupon? Ended up not buying it because I couldn't use it. I'm not sure how to prove to them that it was a genuine coupon.

Here's the site that was promoting Snatch Blu-ray $5 coupon.

I didn't have any problems using a print-out, but YMMV, obviously. It is a high-resolution enough scan that it prints out pretty well, so your chances are decent for getting it accepted.
If you bothered to slow down for one minute, you'd find that the policy is posted, and the policy is clear. It's available on their website, and there's a big sign with all the terms available at the Guest Services counter, where you actually do the price matching. The only part I've found ambiguous is the restriction on "limited time" sales, which some employees have interpreted as excluding things like 3-day sales, when I believe its intent is to only exclude doorbuster-type sales.
The fact is though, that the employees do not follow the policy to the letter, to our benefit. I don't understand why you're so intent on complaining about this and pointing it out, other than maybe you got the raw end of the enforcement of the policy. Tough cookies. In my experience, just try again later with a different employee or try another store altogether, and you'll usually get something favorable. I'm not going to bite the hand that feeds me, but you seem intent on gnawing it off.
I didn't say that they were making it up as they go ... I said it seems like they are making it up as they go. In other words, they never posted the policy or made the terms clear (of course, that hasn't stopped Best Buy from slaughtering their policy). I'm not going to cry or bitch that I got shut down ... but I will question it and make sure that I point out the inconsistencies. My background is in retail management (got out a few years ago, remaining in customer service though).

I'm not biting any hands ... I am relaying my experience and offering others information as to how I did or did not get the deal, just like everybody else.

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon
I can second this comment. In the stores I have visited (Northern Illinois stores), I have NOT seen any posted policy, either. Every time I PMed at the CS desk, I took the time to look for any policy on the wall, at the counter, etc. I saw nothing. I never had a problem with getting the PM and using the coupon in the same transaction.

D'ohboy, not neccessarily.
Some stores, "Super" or not, seem to have 2 aisle of BD's while others only have one. In the Milwaukee area I was not finding Wild Bunch, SOTD or Terminator 3 anywhere on the north side of town. I checked out 2 stores on the south side, neither were "Super" Targets, yet they both had the larger selection.
I discovered this by checking the "Find It At A Target Store" option after searching for each title on target.com ... so give that a shot and maybe some store in your area will have it.

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon
Does anyone know the Target in-store price of District 9 (BD)?
The Target website lists it as $19.99, but I know that doesn't always reflect in-store?
Tack on the $5 coupon and $14.99 is solid price for this.

Count me among those who used the coupon for the last time today.
6 BDs purchased at Target today:
District 9-14.99
500 Days of Summer-19.99
Predator-4.99
The Replacement Killers-9.99
Inside Man-9.99
The 40 Year Old Virgin-9.99
It was good while it lasted....I think I used like 15 or so coupons

15??? I think I used it 15 times in the first 2-3 days after the coupon came out. I'm easily at 30+ uses. You got me thinking, though. I'm going to count when I get home...

Wouldn't that be awesome?
I'm just sayin'.

Yeah, it's sad. Purchased Up! and District 9 today with the intention of stopping but thought, shit, I have Thursday completely off and a hot cup of joe on the way over for a last minute Target trip would be the perfect topping.
Just wish they had more on sale for $9.99 - $14.99 that I was interested in.

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon
I used it three times and returned two of those items. Reservoir Dogs and Terminator were the ones I returned after reading some pretty bad reviews. Office Space was the only one I ended up keeping. I got a bunch of new releases through the Walmart/Bing 20% rebate, so I didn't need to get those through Target. I went into Target today hoping I'd see an unadvertised Extract for $19.99, but my Target didn't have any version of this movie. Where's the love for Extract?

It's good for two more days! Don't give up yet!!!!!!!!!
