Just tried the demo. I found it a lot of fun and handled well. However the demo is only online pvp and from what I've read that's also the full game. It's not a I'll never buy it but it's going on my Deku Deals wishlist but it's not even a I'll buy it one day. Here's what it would need to be an instant buy (all three).

Offline single player against CPU.
Controller support vs only mouse. I think this should be the default in mouse games.
A practice section where you could roll and shoot.

So I didn't find it disappointing, I found it lacking for what I like in a game like this.

There were plenty of people to form games of 2 teams of three, but are they going to buy it? Will you be able to find games? Other people have to have bought the game and be playing at the same time you're playing.

So maybe the actual game will have more features. Honestly they just add offline vs CPU and I'm in. So I will eagerly await review and gameplay video and review of all modes before forming a more firm opinion of this game. I wish all games had at least a one hour demo from when you start playing. I've been going through Switch 1 motion games and the ones by Nintendo (this one was published by Nintendo) as either the developer or the publisher have very smooth mouse and motion controls.

Anyone else get a lot off errors when using the eshop?

try a different browser. my MS Edge doesn't handle that site well. But Firefox and Chrome work just fine.

I have to use my phone, doesn't work on my pc. Or the Switch.

Finally got a hold of a Switch 2 a few days ago. Was at Walmart for something and lo and behold, two Switch 2's sitting in the display case. It was an impulse buy more than anything. I have an OG Switch and WOW, what a difference, lol.

I have no idea what all the whining about Mario Kart World is all about as I'm having a blast with it. Knockout Tour is just crazy fun (5th is the highest I've managed so far). Luckily, it's an upgrade for everyone, lol. I get a Switch 2, my wife gets my old Switch and my niece gets my wife's Switch Lite!!

If you're doing it solo against bots, don't drift. If you do 50 and 100cc and don't drift, the bots don't drift either and I got first in both. Highest in 150cc is second.

Drag X Drive will have an offline cpu mode and a practice shoot mode. I already preordered.

I gave up and bit on a Lexar 512 express play pro for $120, seemed like a decent deal since the Nintendo 256 is $60 and the larger the card the more per gigabyte. I'm about 2/3's full in a month. I didn't know this was going to be my primary gaming device and I was going to be using it so much and want all my switch digital games on it.

Thanks for the info, a lot cheaper. I saw the onn before buying the other one and I saw it was oos but I'll just have it send me an email when it's in stock and get that one. Cancelled the one I had already placed. I got all my switch games downloaded and it's looking like Crossworlds, Just Dance 2026, Kirby Air Riders 2, and Animal Crossing (because we all know it's coming) to go and I think that will fit in internal memory and hopefully the onn is back in stock before then.

Yeah if you can hold off using all that space, around Black Friday should have some decent sales on these (maybe even price drops in addition)

$120 is definitely NOT a decent deal for a 512 card.

I wonder if SanDisk nudged Nintendo to make it the default to download all your old Switch games when transferring to the Switch 2. I think a lot of people were like me and others here and all excited to set it up and didn't realize it would do that and didn't plan on getting extra storage. But we even though we know it would be simple enough to delete all those Switch 1 games we never play anymore it pushed us to buy a special and expensive memory card.

I actually skipped that step but that machine is so perfectly built I then downloaded all my switch 1 games manually wishing I had done it automatically

Drag x Drive reviews are up, and...yeah. 58 on OpenCritic; 60 on MetaCritic.

This has to be one of the lowest scores ever for a first-party Nintendo-developed title.

I had a good time in the demo. It controls extremely well, and the full game will have adjustable cpu opponents for offline play and practice areas. I think in general the mouse games are gonna be hated on and also the full game has a ton of features the demo didn't. I preordered.

I bet you most of those people didn't use their legs or the bed for the mice.

Yeah, it always looked more like a minigame than even a budget title. I'm not shocked at all, but didn't get to try the demo.

Oooohhhh Chibi-Robo coming to NSO Gamecube next week. I had never heard about it but it seems exactly like my type of game, I expect many hours on this one.

My kids loved the original Kirby Air Ride, wasn't one of my favorites though. They are looking forward to the Switch 2 version.

You can apparently get Hogwarts Legacy for the Switch 2 for $22 by buying the game on the Switch 1 (on sale now for $11.99) and then paying $10 for the Switch 2 upgrade in the eShop. Apparently it also works if you borrow a copy from the library and upgrade that way as well for $10.
