I might do something I’ve never gone before…play two games at once. God of War on PS5 and then Dead Space on Xbox. Can’t wait for DS. I must have played and finished when it came out or around then. Looks so damn good and I can see where the $70 went to.

Friday this hits. I’m so looking forward to experiencing this gem again. Not even sure why I got in first place. Probably bc I love horror games. But, I must have heard good things which lead to buying the trilogy. Haven’t played 3 yet.

Target hasn't updated my preorder yet and still shows delivery Mon 1/30 - Thurs 2/2. I am hoping it changes quickly as I really want to play it this weekend.

I recently pulled some games I knew I was done with and traded them in to Gamestop to preorder Jedi Survivor and Tears of the Kingdom. I got more credit that I expected, so I preordered this as well. I’m a little concerned by the lack of reviews just over a day out. With a full-price remake of a popular and beloved game, I would think they’d have sent review copies and allowed reviews by now if they were confident in the end product.

Go figure. When I googled, the only first page result with any real claim was a Reddit discussion that said review copies weren’t being sent out for it. Should’ve taken that with a larger grain of salt. Glad to hear we’ll be getting them in the morning and hope that they’re solid.

Yep, sounds like they knocked it out of the park. I'm looking forward to picking it up tomorrow and revisiting the Event Horizon Ishimura.

IGN gave it a 9, which to them is amazing. This thing looks fucking awesome. I’m still into Spidey game or I would jump ship. But, liked to get this done before what looks like a carefully crafted remake/master, whatever.

I used some credit that I had on Origin (that I didn't know I had) to sign up for a month of their Play Pro subscription. It's ~$15/mo. This is available to download on that service, so it's an option if you're looking at the PC version but maybe don't want to spend the $60 on it.

I've played for about 30 min so far. It's fine. I like it. Looking forward to playing more.

My fellow nerds, I picked my copy up but the case was cracked and the artwork is torn (can't really tell) I have OCD with the games and movies I collect - I will have to live with the artwork tear (Can't be spending 75 bucks again just for that) but I can't find where to buy and series X jewel cases anywhere - can't just use a replacement xbox one jewel case either because they are smaller and don't fit the artwork sleeve.

Does anyone know where to find any replacement series x cases?

This video review by Gameinformer pretty much nails it and sums up the game and remake version as a whole and how the Remake version keeps the core of dead Space intact while building on it adding just the right amount while adding tons of polish......I guess for me the only gripe is the full price at $70 being a 2008 Remake....$50 I can understand. Plus Steam Players got a extra bonus on PO's getting Dead Space 2 Free...console, zip, zada, nada....looks like it's a hit with scores of 4/5 Stars and 8-9/10 everywhere. Motive Studios did a outstanding job taking a 2008 game and almost making it into a true Nex Gen.....

Yeah, $50 is more reasonable for such an old title that many have already played more than once. I had a gc, but if not that not sure I’d get this day 1. Oh, who am I kidding, I still would. Still want Balan Wondrrland. 😜
