I got mine today but you could tell where someone had torn both ends of the box completely off and the packing tape had been pulled up and attempted to be stuck back to the box. I was at the door when the Amazon driver was dropping it off, so it wasn't him that did it. I think an artist formerly known as Sketch is out there. There is no other reason that this is the worst condition of any larger sized box that I have received. Regardless, it is here and I'm setting it up later today.

Do you have the DLC on your PS4 (and still have your PS4)? If so, try doing a Data Transfer.

Apparently you can go to Game Library->[click option button]->Manage Game Content on your PS5 to just see DLC you own for Rock Band. I couldn't find this option when I was attempting to do this yesterday.

Does it seems like the game updates download at a crawl? Mine are downloading at about 5mbps despite having a much faster download speed than that. I thought my wifi might not be playing nice, so I connected with an lan cable. Still downloading at the same speed. I've updated AC Valhalla so far. Miles Morales is updating now and Demon's Souls is paused and back in the queue.

My charging station from Sony Direct showed up today. My console, also from Sony Direct, is scheduled for tomorrow. Both shipped from NJ on the same day. WTF Sony?

Same. I've read in the past that Sony throttles which always checked out when I tested my PS4 speeds. Always capped out at 30-40 Mbps down. I tested the PS5 and I almost hit 200Mbps.

Yep. I'd top out at 30-40 hardwired on the PS4. I connected the PS5 via 5Ghz and got the 200.

Pretty sure I read in the past that Sony capped things on their end. I might have to look that up later.

Last night two of us were talking about the PS5 and any reviews....three of us had planned but decided to wait....out of 27 Friends on last night I counted 17 with PS5. I was asked to do...Research....on what owners are saying but I said it might be a bit early; might need to wait a few more days.....so is anyone had real time to put in their thoughts and review or give it a week and ask again?

Sorry to hear this happen to you. There are just some very unscrupulous people out there, regardless of the state of the economy. I believe that retailers should put customers that have this happen or have broken ones delivered into a first opportunity to purchase list. That way as soon as the next batch comes in, they contact you and give you an opportunity to purchase one before they hit the public. Just a tiny bit of customer service can go a long ways. I hope you get one soon.

already sold the PS4 unfortunately. I spent the time in RB downloading each song. It was a while but couldn’t wait.

My PS5 just arrived! Time to set it up. I don't have any PS5 games yet, so will be messing around with the other stuff first.

FedEx dude didn't even knock but I heard the truck stop in front and when I looked out the window I saw him and he saw me. Quickly scooped it up and brought it inside. It was shipped in an oversized Target box -- had some weight on it.

The game that comes with the system is actually quite fun and good. And the access to the PS Collection is very impressive. Lots of great stuff there.

My Miles Morales game has crashed repeatedly. Many times. No idea why. I keep sending them a report every time.

That sucks. I've already put like 7 or 8 hours into Miles Morales and no issues. Such a beautiful looking game.

I am kind of regretting giving up my PS5 pre-order for my Xbox pre-order. I skipped PS4 but a few of the games intrigued me. Just didn't want to invest in a system to only play a few games on. Xbox has literally nothing for me at launch. I mean I am heavily invested in Xbox ecosystem, so I would get one eventually. Just feels like sort of a waste to get on right now. Hopefully PS5s get back in stock regularly next year. I will probably pick one up when they do.

Has anyone seen anything from Sony about how long that free game offer on PSN will be?

I just finished upgrading my Watch Dogs: Legion and downloading the PS5 version. The graphics are a bit more crisp, the draw distance seems to be more clear, and it seems to run a little more smoothly. Also, the load times are a huge improvement. I'm now upgrading my Sackboy to the PS5 version.

For those who have it already, how's the battery life on the PS5 controllers? The short battery life on the PS4 one is one of the few things that irked me about that gen system
