I unlocked the Faith battle last night and had to step away... so I couldn't figure out how to access the prison roof (I'll You Tube it). I'm more than ready to be done with this game and fire up God of War 5 but it is amazing how deep the gameplay is and the narrative is spooky. It's obvious (to me) that they're trying to recruit me / hypnotize me to be in their cult. I'm interested to see how the end game plays out.

prison roof should give you the arrows and such to show you where to go. i think i climbed the walkway, picked off all the peggies with sniper and then jumped to a roof from there, but the arrows are pretty good guide...
yeah, Faith was pretty easy. i actually died trying to get out of there after killing her...

Gotta say, pretty gratifying liberating an entire region. Does it make sense to finish missions in that region still? I know sometimes you get some money, but wasn’t most about resistance points to fight Faith?

Will I lose out on perk points?

I don't think any missions are tied to perk points. I guess you could miss out on some prepper stashes which always have some magazines. Or miss out on just random magazines in buildings.

Missions tend to take you places you may not go on your own.

And having that 4th holster is so handy with that rpg gun I have or whatever. That, sniper, shotgun type gun. Makes it real nice.

Curious...if I just finished and have only been doing missions in Faith territory, how do I have enough points already to get to John? I did maybe 2 missions in Holland Valley and don’t understand how I’m up to him already? The RP don’t transfer, right? Is Jacob that easy to open too? Then Joseph? Is game almost over? Is there somewhere in game it gives you time played and all those stats?

For those of us that got the Gold edition....Far Cry 3 should be ready to DL next week.

When Hours of Darkness launches, it will be playable in either solo or online co-op, with players needing to infiltrate a dangerous jungle and fight to get to their imprisoned squad mates. The DLC will not only feature new gear and abilities but will have two different playable models that will be unlocked after completing Hours of Darkness.

There will also be two modes – Survivor Mode and Action Movie Mode – that are included in the DLC, which will players a limited loadout for a more challenging experience and more generous load outs for over-the-top action, respectively. Hours of Darkness can be purchased as a standalone DLC for $11.99 but is also apart of the Far Cry 5 Season Pass ($29.99) and Gold Edition ($89.99) of the game.

This is a prequel to the "dog tags" mission.

I finished the game a few days ago and it was a complete surprise. I didn't even realize that I was playing the last story mission of the game, as I assumed (based on the map) that there were way more tasks for me to complete. I even used the "Skip" button during the final cutscene only to start seeing the credits and being like "WTF????". I YouTubed the ending just so that I could see it and now I can still roam around the map, but there seems to be next to no enemies unless I redo an Outpost...Very disappointed in the ending...I guess I can start fishing now...

Found that the game was pretty short, and could've sworn it took me way longer to beat the last two Far Cry games...

All three regions are open from the beginning. You have to get enough RP in each area to battle and defeat its Lieutenant. The thing is you may get captured by each Lieutenant a couple of times before you get your chance to beat them. It's not at all a short game even if you just concentrate on Story missions. I still haven't gotten enough RP to take on Jacob though he's captured me like four times -- making me do the same shooting gallery bullshit over and over again for no apparent reason. I killed your brother, Jacob! Why don't you kill me instead of training me like Apollo Creed?

Yeah, that part of the storyline killed me. Constantly getting drugged and waking up to do those same time-trial shoot'em ups...I couldn't stand those levels and eventually just started skipping those cut-scenes...They were all the same...

Isn't Far Cry 3 also available in a few days for season pass owners?

Do we know a day? Will we just get code in Xbox messages?

Heads-up for Season Pass owners : Apparently with the latest update, they've removed the Deluxe Edition content you get with the Season Pass/Gold Edition. All that stuff (Prepper van, custom 1911 pistol, Prepper costume, helicopter) was gone from my Inventory. I went to the PS4 main menu and downloaded it all again individually (12 items), now it's all back. Weird.

ugh. anyone notice that on One?

I didn't know there were freebies with the Gold Edition. I just thought it was the DLC packs and Far Cry 3. So I haven't entered it yet on my PS4.
