A friend of mine says that this game is even faster than Infinite Warfare and IW is super fast. I will probably buy this soon.

Tempted but with Black Friday getting closer I might hold off....and still have Doom to even open and play.

This is the Target BF price. Walmart will have it for $27. Best buy will also be $35.

Pretty good piece on how Titanfall 2 does everything right, but EA did everything wrong.

This game is fucking outstanding. The campaign was a blast and very well done. The multiplayer feels fresh and it's so...damn....fast - normally that would annoy me but here's the thing, IT'S FUN.

Graphics are exceptional as well.

Don't miss this one.

Oh, I hate sci-fi shit in general so I guess this is high praise.

Re: Titanfall 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

I saw the deal at Walmart but didn't know Amazon had it.....I might go ahead and pull the trigger and not worry about Black Friday. I don't see this going below 50% off.

Just a question....what's the word on future DLC, modes, additional SP or any co-op being added?

In that video at the point showing the Mechs do battle, was that the campaign or MP?

By the sounds of it they have a fair bit of DLC planned for the game, and best of all its totally free. No bullshit season pass stuff.

This game truly is worth the blind buy from anyone. I had only seen video of the first game, but liked the look and idea behind it. I saw the first solid review of Titanfall 2 and bought it the same day. Sure i havn't played it as much as other games in recent times, but the quality is stellar and for once it sounds like the company has listened to gamers and tried rectifying the problems from the first game. for $30 its an absolute steal.

Re: Titanfall 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Thanks...just put the order in at Wallmart...just waiting on notification.

I'm a sucker for "Mech" games....I had a blast with The Mech Warrior series on the pc which this might be the closet to with far, far better graphics, visuals and play.

Re: Titanfall 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

Just wrapped the campaign which was worth the price of admission all by itself.

But for $30 this one is a total no brainer. It's a real shame EA sent this out to die. If they would've held it until Feb / March it would've been a blockbuster.

Is it not selling well? Isn't the $30 price just an early BF price due to Target?

Re: Titanfall 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

I'm still fuzzy on the whole EA with Titanfall 2 and BF controversy but one week apart with two highly sought games has to be a total marketing disaster. They could've easily put them 6-8 weeks apart and still before Black Friday. I'm sure it divided fans and players alike. but sadly the BF vs COD war has been a priority and going on for years so I'm sure BF had to come into play with COD's release....which both fight for position come every late Holiday season; even at the expense of some good solid games. Titanfall might actually benefit with some players getting COD and BF fatigue...I've already heard some COD players are getting a little tied of the High Tech play and wish a return to the WWI & II style. I actually like what EA did with BF going more "primitive" with WW1 like the good old days.

I'm afraid to play this because it'll pull me away from BF1... which is outstanding in its own right.

Re: Titanfall 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

EA's plan was to flood the market with quality shooters before COD came out. Seriously, that was pretty much it. The good news is they are still saying that Titanfall will stick around as a franchise, regardless of sales. If they can stagger release years going forward (Battelfield one year, then Battlefront, then Titanfall, repeat.), then they can have a FPS every year from a different franchise to compete with COD. They just have to keep chipping away at sales from Activision, and this year they seemed to be all in.

I have been loving this. I picked it up for XB1 since only one other friend was going to get it and that's his platform. Played a decent amount over the weekend.

Jumped on last night, only about 4500 people on in the St.Louis datacenter (which reaches all the way upto Chicago). This thing is dead. Sigh.

It's weird though, since I thought EA had specifically said within the last year or two that staggering shooters on a yearly basis was their plan. Not sure what happened, but it was assumed that rotating Battlefield, Star Wars, and Titanfall was their plan.

It's not dead. I never have trouble finding a game. It's worth the purchase.

Just St Louis area? That's quite a lot if true.

For reference on PS4, Battlefield 4 has 15k worldwide, while Hardline has around 5400 worldwide.

No idea. When I spooled it up it said "St.Louis Datacenter Server" or something along those lines. And I've been having alot of trouble finding games. Or maybe I'm just used to instantly finding them in Battlefield 1.

Reboot your damn modem or router or something - there's a ton of people online and I've never had one problem jumping into a game at all.

Played some SP last night... aside from not getting very far, I'm impressed.
