I'm glad we're getting a beta... I hope it lives up to all the hype I've created in my head

Yeah, very excited for a beta of this.

I think I'll try the beta of this first and decide if I want to purchase it. It looks pretty cool but I'm not sure its my kind of game.

Same here. I don't like Battlefield games, and I'm afraid this is going to play like one. I really want to like this game though. It looks fantastic!

Good to hear this even though I'm not at all good at the MP aspect. But I'm sure a lot who have questions about the game itself will get a taste of it and get an idea as if it's for them. Right now I'm sold on it...just sorry to see it and COD being released so close.

Did I miss where it says where to sign up for the Beta?

There won't be a sign-up. EA will be shooting out invite codes for select individuals to begin the beta process early, but it will be an open beta once it goes live to the public similar to BF4 and Hardline.

Also, as someone who just touched the game within the past 24 hours, Battlefront plays more like the original franchise and less like Battlefield.

For those familiar with Battlefront and Battlefront II, prepare to start cleaning your walls because they will be covered in jizz.

For those more familiar with Battlefield, its different. Its a lot simpler in nature and much more action-packed/frantic. Its far easier to grab a controller and go than knowing the ins-and-outs of Battlefield.

And I'm glad DICE made it more like the original games and less like Battlefield.

Did nobody play the original Battlefront games?

I'm glad it's more like Pandemic's original games.

That's really all I wanted from this update, plays similar to the original while taking full advantage of DICE's Frostbite engine.

As someone that played the Hoth MP at E3 (and took down an AT-AT)...

I was able to watch the video yesterday and it looks amazing. That said, it looks very repetitive. I'm of the belief that killstreaks is what makes the CoD series so successful. I have no idea if you can earn those in Battlefront, but I know you couldn't in the Battlefield series. I'm buying this day one but I'm not sure it'll hold my interest being an MP only game and not at the same quality level as the CoD series (IMO).
