Crap, I missed the entire first day of the node then. I will still get the Daken progression reward, but I am 230 or so for event so Bullseye may be out of reach.

You should be good. Most players either seem to not give a crap or to not be able to hang with the scaling on this one. I'm absolutely dragging my heels and can still easily snag a top 50.

With the change to pvp scoring I was able to get my first ever 1000 point progression (StarLord yellow) from the Falcon event. Opened a butt load more tokens and still no damned Iron Fist so I'm missing out on him in today's DDQ again. Pulled my 12th Beast and 7th Bagnarok though!

Been without internet for a few days but been playing using mobile data and wireless at work.

Scored 1034 points, only spent 75 hp on one shield and 50 hp for one health pack. Earned my first blue Lady Parts Thor, have her at 1/1/1. Shielded at 10th place with 1h 36min to go, finished 11th. Only got attacked twice on the last day so this was super easy, probably because I have a maxed out 3* Captain Marvel.

Stay on Target
Just finished up. Scored 1019 points, shielded with 7h 48 min to go. Only spent the 150 hp or whatever it cost for the 8h shield. Won my X-Force green, 8th cover, 3/2/3. This one was tough as nails. I conservatively estimate that I scored 2200 points to break 1000. Made do with LThor Lcap and my level 76 Bullseye. I'm in 12th place now and unless some kind of horrific disaster happens I will wake up to my 13th rocket/groot cover, 3/5/5 which is how I wanted to finish them.

Thoughts:
The new scoring system is a lot more volatile, and I was able to pull off the hat trick due to having buffed Lcap mostly. I spent only hp I had acquired from ddq and progression prizes and I've used up all my 10% damage boosts and stockpiles but it was worth it. I spent $0 real money. I doubt I will be able to pull it off once LCap's buff wears off but it was fun.

I barely cracked top 100 on the Bullseye PVP with 800 points.

I think the name of the game now is to join late and climb in the last 10 hours or so. I see some of the better players getting their first shield over 1000 this way. You have 60+ point targets all the way.

Rocket and Groot event:

Won my 1000 point black Elektra, only spent 150 hp for an 8 hour shield, shielded at 10th with 1013 points and 5h 40min left. Placed 14th got my two Squirrelly Girlie covers and recouped 50 hp. So, basically 4 top 25 and 1000 point progressions achieved in a row. I doubt I will make it this time because my Squirrel Girl is sub par. I have 8 covers for her but my iso well is dry and I just didn't have it in me to level her like I want to. Bringing her up to level 70 sucked me under 10k iso which I don't like to drop below.

I am going to try to hit 800 points so I get my 9th cover for her and have her 3/3/3. I will be happy with that. I'm not going to use any hp or rare boosts in the event.

This is where the DDQ is really nice. It only takes about 4 days of playing that to raise any toon to 120.

I love DDQ, probably would have quit by now without it, got my 9th Luke Cage today. Did exactly what I hoped to do and hit 800 points in CoverSquirrel so I got my 9th Squirrel Girl cover, came in 54th.

Scored 1003 points and just squeaked by in getting my first Hulkbuster cover tonight from High Stakes. Spent 100 hp on 2 health packs and didn't shield because I don't care about placement in this one. Never seen so many roided up Blades and Hulks in my life. I've made 1000 points in 5 of the last 6 PvPs now. The scoring change has really rejuvenated my interest in the game.

Yeah, it's been pretty great. If you have a decent rooster, you can do very well with not a ton of effort. What alliance are you in dan?

Opened a buttload of tokens the other day to get a couple Bullseyes to make my push for the Magneto progression easier. The scaling being off is a beautiful thing. I hope they murder the whole concept, violate its corpse and bury it in a shallow grave in the woods. Only got one three star, a red Luke Cage, my 10th cover. Everything in the game has seen drastic improvement with the exception of the lackluster half assed method in which they compensate players for server issues and bugs. Some folks couldn't get on for days and all they got was the same 250 Hp and 1000 iso we all got.

EDIT: Won my 34k point 3* Magneto red and snagged an extra blue cover from a Prodigal Sun token! So I finally have level 100 Magneto. Nine covers 3/4/2. Took me 9 months to get my third cover for him and now I pull two in one day. Pretty happy.

EDIT2: Missed out on the placement Magneto in the Carnage PvP, came in 103rd, got blasted for 49 points right before I shielded. But I pulled one from my 300 point Magnetic Mayhem token and now I got him 3/5/2 level 127. Just gotta get the 800 point progression blue cover.

Got that 800 point progression Magneto, fiercest competition I've faced yet, also snagged a Kamala Khan in the Sentry PvP.

Ultron event is back. Starts soon.

So far i'm 3 for 3 with Ultron reward packs being 3 or 4 star cards. Got a fury, cyclops and prof x (first covers for fury and prof).

Excellent pulls. I got an Iron Fist today, but otherwise nothing from the many others I've opened.

Ultron bombs are brutal on round 6. They must have upped the damage since the last run.

Butt load of HP, well more than enough to put me over the top for my 60th roster slot, got over 500 left over. Can't complain.

User at d3p forum says Ultron bombs do over 16.1k damage each in round 8. His minions have got a hell of a lot smarter too and the game is cheating, it knows what is coming before it drops. I see cascades bare minimum every other turn off swarms resulting in at least one critical every single time and I can can count on one hand how many of my countdown tiles I've been able to bring to fruition. I've seen them clear a column with yet another 4+ match only to see half the tiles drop in as attack tiles triggering core meltdowns. It has been a bitch to say the least!

How does this new Taco Vault thing work?

My guess is that you have the same chance to pull any of those covers, I actually pulled a 4* wolverine with my second taco, nothing but Hawkeyes since

But why does it reset every week? Do you pull stuff out of the vault? Etc
