Are they going to be putting up another Season 1 event or is the Shield training going to be the only one up until the end? If so it's going to be a hell of a grind for me to get that 10 pack. I'm at around 3800 points now, not sure I'll manage to get to 5000 by Wednesday.

Had two weird glitches with Thor's green power this morning. First, an opposing Thor used it and it seemed normal, except it did no damage to anyone on my team. Then, later in the match, my Thor used it and it did the normal damage, but also cleared some tiles, which isn't supposed to be an effect for that power. I'm not sure if it was just a rare, match-specific bug, or if it's a symptom of bigger problems with the game.

It is, but the next unlock is 1800 hero points, which comes out to around $10 if someone in the group uses their first-time discount to buy them. If you're interested, I'm sure we can find someone willing to collect funds via Paypal and do it. Also, if you're going to spend money on the game, the two biggest bangs for your buck are definitely joining an Alliance and getting hero points to use towards unlocking roster spots.

Pretty sure there isn't a first time discount; it was just a sale at the time.

Fucking SHIELD event is only pairing me up against people with level 80+ characters now. I was really hoping to get some of those two star covers, as well as get closer to the season 1 10 pack reward. This game really pisses me off sometimes.

I don't know. I check the purchase option every couple days and always had the discount available until my first purchase and have never had it again. Has anyone seen it after they've made a purchase?

I think I have some Apple credit from a gift card that's just been sitting around. I can use it to buy the requisite number of points. 1800, you said?

You can't send Marvel points/coins/tokens to someone else in game if that is what you are asking. Anyone who is a Commander can unlock roster spots as long as they have the coins to spend. I believe most of us are Commanders.

Doh! Well, spend your tokens on roster spots. That is the best way to spend them when starting out. Or, maybe we can get a spot opened for you via taking up a Paypal collection like we did in the past.

Ok, so if Supermallet already bought coins, can we have someone temporarily leave the Alliance, have Supermallet join and pay to unlock a spot and then have the person who left rejoin? Does anyone know if that would work or if they have any rules in place to prevent it? Seems like maybe the best option now that we're up into the higher-priced unlocks for spots.

I'd imagine that would work. It isn't gaming the system and a spot is still being paid for with coins.
