Having duplicate characters doesn't really make a lot of sense unless you have tons of HP to burn on roster spots. There aren't a ton of characters that have 2 equally good builds, so that extra spot is usually better spent on a character that might be featured in a PvE event, or similar.

Much better than the 10-pack I got which consisted of exactly zero 3* characters.

With the ISO rewards, friends will likely want the spam. Otherwise, you pretty much have to uncheck all before moving on after it awards you a sharable prize. I'm not sure that you can turn off that "feature."

Let us know how many 141 Daken, 171 Patch, 141 Mags teams you run into.

so far, none. i did run into a team with a very high patch (probably maxed out) and a near maxed Mags, but the 3rd character was someone else. hulk or punisher, i think.

now i'm getting wrecked. maxed out patch, maxed out punisher and near maxed out 3* thor.

I've got a boosted-to-65 Patch with two 85's (Ares/Thor/cStorm/OBW). And I'm getting destroyed by a bunch of maxed out 3-Star teams.

I am definitely in the wrong grouping. I am getting waxed. I can even get above about 450. Any time I do, I get attacked several times.

Question, how or what determines which hero's logo is placed on a specific gem's color? Is it level? Which color is the hero's primary color?

I now have a maxed 85 Thor and Classic Storm. In the Simulator with a team of those two plus Punisher, Storm is tanking green, yellow, blue and purple. Thor is red and Punisher is black. Thor and Punisher make sense to me... Punisher's only power for me is black which Storm/Thor don't have, same for Thor-red and Storm-blue. However, why the heck is Thor not tanking yellow and green? Storm's yellow is passive for goodness sake.

Also, is there a hero that tanks blue when paired with Storm or OBW?

It's whoever does the most damage with a given color.

Most people use Magneto with Storm.

Damn it, placed top 10 and top 50 and only got a Wolverine and Hawkeye out of the tokens which I didn't need. Simulator rewards have been sucking for me.

i got 2 captain america peacemakers, but one was 3*, so i'm happy with that.

*sigh*, no 3-star magneto..so that won't do me much good on the third leg of this PvE event. Oh well. I might make it to 75k for the hero points, but I'll probably fall short without him. (I'm at ~68k). I did finally get a Daredevil cover but nowhere to put him and I need about 150 hero points in 4 or 5 days to open up the 3 spaces. Love the game, but Roster management is nuts (had to dump my 3-star spiderman(only 1 cover) to open up a spot for 2-star BW so I would have somebody else to use on this current event).

Placed 1st in hard mode and 7th in normal. Out of my 4 heroics, I got 3 I needed = 2 red wolverine (2*) and 1 purple modern hawk. My 2* wolverine is now complete at 5/5/3. Just need to save up a ton of ISO.

you can use either the 2* or 3* magneto for the event. 2* just isn't buffed like the 3* is.

When two characters have the same damage for a particular color, it's determined by the order that you place your characters. The center character is #1. The left character is #2. And the right character is #3. So you want to put your tank in the middle and your weakest character on the right.

For example, if you're using Level 85 Ares, OBW and Storm. Ares & Storm both tie for Green/Yellow. OBW & Storm both tie for Blue. So I place them Ares #1, OBW #2 and Storm #3. Ares tanks for Yellow/Red/Green. OBW tanks for Purple/Blue/Black. And Storm (the weakest character) doesn't tank for anything.

When you're using OBW, make sure to put her in a position so that she's tanking Purple/Blue/Black. Her Black power deals additional damage and steals from the enemy when she matches those colors. But it only works if she does the matching.

You can look-up characters in the wikia. It gives damage rates for each level. This is really helpful when you're deciding which character to level-up. I was leveling Ares & Storm at the same time. And I always kept Ares a little ahead so that he would tank more colors.

Yeah, I'm using a boosted Magneto in this event, and frustratingly enough he's tanking blue and preventing OBW from getting enough to fully heal the team.

Weird. It's letting me enter the "Essential" events with 2* Magneto...normally that's a no-no. Bug, or is it because I also have 3* Magneto in my roster?
