Speaking of how much I dislike the genre, who wouldn't want a :
Free Everybody's Gone To The Rapture PS4 Theme
Go to the official site, enter the security word "Yaughton" and an email address. They will generate a code you can redeem on your PS4 or the website for a free dynamic theme. Offer for one week or while supplies last.

I'm really interested in Until Dawn, but because of the type of game it is and with as quickly as Sony's first party games have been plummeting in price, I'm a little reluctant to pull the trigger at $60 (or, well, $48 + tax with GCU). I just figure it'll be half that before the year's out. We'll see how impulsive I get.
I finally finished The Last of Us and I've been anticipating Until Dawn for quite some time now.
EDIT: Looks like Until Dawn will be $39.99 in next week's Best Buy Ad starting on 9/6

What's coming to the PS4's 3.00 firmware?
The increase in cloud storage is long overdue, so I'm more thankful for that than anything.
- Events: A new hub for events has been added, giving an overview of activities taking place in the games you play most, as well as official broadcasts. For instance, you may see an update for a double XP weekend, a special enemy appearing at a scheduled time, or seasonal events like in-game towns being decorated for the winter.
- YouTube live: PS4 owners will be able to live stream gameplay to YouTube. Live streams will be viewable across YouTube, including on the new YouTube Gaming mobile app and website.
- Online storage capacity increase: PlayStation Plus members’ PS4 cloud storage capacity will increase from 1GB to 10GB
- Favourite Groups: Favourite Groups has been added to the Friends app, letting you add new or existing groups as a Favorite Group and quickly access groups of people you like to play games with frequently. This will make the process of getting a game session up and running even easier.
- Communities: PS4 users will have the ability to create communities based around shared interests, like games, genres and more. Communities include a message board with general discussion, screenshots shared by players and the ability to join parties or games. If you want to tackle a big multiplayer raid, but don’t have enough friends, this could be a great way to connect with other likeminded players.
- Sharing video clips to Twitter: Users will have the ability to share video clips directly to Twitter. The maximum video length is 10 seconds, but you’ll have the ability to trim longer clips.
- Live from PlayStation: We’ve added the ability for users to view popular broadcasts, video clips and screenshots on the Live From PlayStation area
- Screenshots: We’ve listened to your feedback and we’re happy to confirm that PNG format is now an option for Screenshot saves
- Now Playing: The Now Playing screen will display more information about what your friends are doing, and you’ll be able to quickly jump into a party, request a screen share, or jump to PlayStation Store to buy a game your friend is playing.
- Request to watch: Want to view a friend’s gameplay session? Now you can send a ‘Request to Watch’ notification to a player, which will start a live broadcast or Share Play invitation to the person playing.
- Stickers: Tired of typing out messages? With this update, you’ll be able to send stickers to friends through the messages.
There’s a lot more included in this update, but that’s a quick glance at some of the items we’re most excited about. Stay tuned for more information as we approach launch

I like the increase of the cloud storage. Everything else has no consequence to me.

Thank God. 1GB storage was absurdly tiny.

And still no folders or ways to sort/display games

Being able to group friends is a good feature.
It'll be nice to keep the Daggers away from the rest of my friends...I mean make sure I can find them at all times

Despite the increase in cloud storage size, Sony really needs to implement some parameters on just how big a save file can be.

Having some WiFi issues with my PS4
This problem has been periodic. Some days work and some days don't. Today my PS4 cannot get onto the PSN network at all. I tried re-setting my router (unplugging it in and out) and re-booting the PS4, but nothing works.
I'm stuck at the main screen with the "Connect to the Internet" part at the bottom.
When I try to test my internet connection, it would stall at finding the IP address.
Check that: After I finished typing this message, I'm now back online. Is this a common problem with the PS4 that the Wi-Fi just sucks and doesn't work properly all the time?

BTW, I purchased this 2TB hard drive to upgrade my storage to follow up my recent post.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00
It was $95.88 plus tax and free one day shipping. I looked at a few Youtube videos and the process does seem easy.

Help!!! I am stuck with my PS4 Hard Drive upgrade.
Bought the Hard Drive as I mentioned and installed it successfully with no issues. Here's where I ran into a major problem.
Downloaded the update firmware off the PS4 website. It's 2.57.
The instructions said to use a USB stick that has at least 1 GB free. So I found one and formatted it as FAT32 as mentioned in an online video I watched. Then I downloaded the file..."PS4UPDATE.PUP"
The instructions said to create 2 folders. "PS4" and then a sub folder called "UPDATE"
I dragged in the update file into the Update sub folder. No issues.
Now here's where things stopped working. I put in the flash drive and started my PS4 in safe mode. I went to option 7 "Initialize PS4 (Reinstall system software)" prompt and then this error message shows up:
"The update file cannot by used. Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 2.57 or later. (CE-34788-0)"
What am I doing wrong? I thought this was supposed to be easy? I re-downloaded the file 3 times, so I don't know what the hell is going on. This is really pissing me off. I would hate to have to return the new 2 TB drive because of this.
Any thoughts?

Is your update file a fairly large file close to 700-900mb in size? I remember when I did the update way back, they actually had two versions of the software. It needs to be the larger size. Are your folders on the jump drive all in capital letters? Was your jump drive plugged in into the PS4 before you turned it on?

The above is the link for the new installation OS.

Thanks
Turns out the file was only 232 MB. I didn't quite get that was only the firmware update and not the complete OS re-install as you mentioned. I found the larger file.
The CNet Youtube video that explained the re-install process wasn't clear about it.

New 2 TB hard drive is great. So much breathing room which is awesome. I still have 1.4 GB left after re-installing all the data and re-downloading all those games.

I need to upgrade too. Had to delete something the other day just to download a game update. I was holding out for a 3TB but will get that 2TB the majority of you have gotten.

Pretty sure my PS4 is fucked. When I boot it up it will have some static and grain over the xmb and at times a little crackle sound will come out of the speakers. It also keeps causing my TV to turn off and on over and over again. If I power off the system and then start it up again I will get lucky at times and have no issues until I try to start a game and then it will have a super loud buzz sound. If I can get a game to load without incident I can play for hours without a problem. I tried a new HDMI cable. It didn't help. I tried switching HDMI inputs on the TV and that didn't help. Still trying a few things out but I'm guessing it won't be something I can fix or something that will correct itself.

Do you have another TV you could hook it up to for testing?

Since I despise playing blu-ray movies on my XBOX One I've been booting up my PS4 all week to watch Supernatural Season 10. Haven't had the issue for a few days now so I'm not sure what to think.

So my PS4 no longer recognizes or reads when I put a Blu Ray in yet games run fine. Anybody have this issue? Were you able to correct it? Any advice is appreciated.
Thank God I bought the 3 year protection plan... even though when I try to place a service order, the online system doesn't recognize it.
