So I am at about level 22 and have not picked up the "special" weapon at vault 111 is it worth getting it still? I have Piper with me and she is a hoot. I had the ability to have a "Romance" but did not select that dialog option does it come back? Female character btw...

You can always sell the .38 ammo that is literally everywhere and trade the funds to buy the ammo you need. For weight issues, just bring a follower along and command them to pick up the heavy items. Even Dogmeat can carry armor for you. And you travel in power armor you carry weight increases enough for it to no be a big deal.
I'd really wish they would add a gun rack and mannequins in the workbench to display your unused special weapons and unique outfits. They already have magazine racks and a bobble head stand. Seems easy enough.

The Cryolator is a fun weapon. I went to use it, tried a couple of times, and then never used it again. LOL. After a few days I just decided to store it to save some weight.

So far Kellog's gun and clothing are still tops for me and I got those very early on in the game. Renamed "kellog's gun" to "Bessie".
so do you actually have to buy a bobble head stand and magazine rack or are they at certain location? I think it would be cool to store the bobble heads and magazines like that.

There's a similar weapon I found that's way better. The gun (can't remember the name) always freezes enemies on a critical hit. So I'll get a critical, switch, freeze enemies, and switch back to another weapon.

You can build them in any settlements you control, just as you would build any other item. When enter workshop mode, look through ALL the items you can build, they're in there somewhere. Pretty sure they're available to build right from the start.

I have that rifle. It's pretty neat but I also have the one the one specfically targets ghouls and drains 50% of their energy. I fancy the ghoul gun more.

Re: Fallout 4
I'm not sure what you mean by the railroad mission because there's more than one, but 'Reunions' is part of the main quest line. None of the main quest line missions interfere with any of the factions. You can actually be friendly with all 4 factions at once... up until a certain point. As you get deeper into the faction quest lines, the game will tell you if you're about to do an action that will make you an enemy of another faction and you'll have the option to back out.
The order of completion doesn't matter, but if you want to get all the achievements/trophies in one playthrough then you have to make a couple saves at certain points. Most people do their first critical save at 'Mass Fusion' (which is an Institute quest).
Also, if you haven't been to the Institute yet then you're not quite getting near the end. You will come to a point where the other 3 factions (Brotherhood, Railroad, Minutemen) will stop giving you 'new' storyline quests until you reach the Institute so don't worry about alienating anybody just yet.

Not sure but it might. You have to do things that she likes or that she loves and you'll get the prompt with more dialogue options and possibly the romance ones. Having your Charisma levels up a bit could help, too.

I should also mention that I have not encountered the Railroad faction. I've just been drafted into the Brotherhood, though.

Re: Fallout 4
You are so afar from the end.
I'm too, and I already met Kellog and the Railroad faction.
BTW, thanks everyone for not spoiling anything. It's hard to ask, or google, for this game anywhere else in the internet without being spoiled.

Re: Fallout 4
The missions don't take very long once you decide to stick to the story, but yeah... if you've only discovered the Brotherhood and the Minutemen then you're NOT near the end. Although now that I think about it, I'm not sure if joining any other factions beside the Minutemen is actually a requirement to finish the game. I think you might still be able to complete the story even if you never discovered the Railroad... or Brotherhood for that matter (I wouldn't suggest skipping either of them though because you'd miss out on a ton of content).

Awesome.
Yeah, I want the game to end but I don't want it to end, though.
I am also at level 59. I took Kellog's head off with one critical shot. It was glorious.

I think I "missed" my opportunity as it said I had reached maximum something with her as far as conversations go.

I'm having a hard time finding the bits and pieces I need to upgrade my weapons. I want to max out my sniper rifle, but can't find the junk I need.
I I think I recognized a couple voice actors from Life is Strange in two different locations (Chloe and Mr. Jefferson)

Damn! I encountered him at about Level 17. I had a hard time taking him down. Took me a few tries, although my final shot on him was a very similar head shot.

Nice. I didn't think about selling ammo (it's hard enough to come by as it is, for certain types anyway), but I do think I have a ton of .38 right now.

Re: Fallout 4
If you're not using Miniguns at all, selling the ammo (5mm) for them can get you a decent amount of caps. It's not the most common ammo type, but you tend to pick it up in quantities of 500, so it's something you may have a few thousand of laying around.

Re: Fallout 4
I pretty much only use 4 different types of ammo so everytime I meet someone who sells the kinds I use I just trade them for one's I don't.

Got to use the fat man yesterday!! Nice!! ha. I finally figured out how to continue the story missions as well (was stuck at the mission after you meet that mutated fuck in the cave) "follow the trail" my ass, I don't mind having to use my brain and it was cool to wait for the tour robot to come out but still, if you're not on your toes you will miss a lot of this shit.

I'm on this part now. I went into a house that overlooks the swan pond that was there all that fucking time but got killed by some Mirelurk kings.
I'm at level 60 now.
