CoD and Titanfall are "twitchy" (fast movement with confined maps and quick kills)

BF and Killzone are more deliberate (BF because of its scale and multitude of vehicles and Killzone because guys are slower and harder to take down).

lol, I'm not the fucking CEO of Sony... I just know that I'd be pushing my software AAA titles more and busting supplier / production balls to amp up production. Other than what I see, I have no other insight as to hardware shortage.

"Only available with pre-order!" Is it hype to get you to pre-order? Regardless, I can't imagine that stores would ship unclaimed pre-orders back to Sony.

I'd hunt down and link the clip of Dirty Harry asking if you feel lucky, but I'm not that dedicated.

watched some of the livstreaming today (don't want the game spoiled) and have to say this looks absolutely fantastic .... passed on ordering from the ebay seller who was shipping early since I had Amazon credit .... looking forward to Friday

Is this a new story? I only got about an hour into Infamous, always meant to go back and finish but it never happened. I want content for the PS4, was thinking about picking this up.

So disappointed this isn't coming out til Friday. Family in Florida for spring break and have whole week to myself. Was thinking this came out Tues and I could get a few long evening sessions in before they get back....Friday.

Me too! I have this week off work for spring break. Was really hoping to spend time with this game. Why release a big title on Friday? This isn't a movie and I bet it hurts its first week sales.

I don't think anyone tracks first week sales like with movies, only monthly.

Why it's coming out on a Friday, I have no idea. Nintendo likes to release big titles and systems on a Sunday. I can't recall another major Sony title coming out on a Friday.

A few big video releases come out on Fridays though. Usually family titles, but most recently Hunger Games : Catching Fire did.

I just watched a guy play this and he finished it while I was watching. It has some cool battles and gameplay. The player said he would give it a solid 8 but the story isn't as good as the previous games. The main story lasts about......in length.

That's shorter than I would expect. Are there a lot of optional side-quests?

Oh and don't forget this is a game designed to be played through twice

That is why I'm not complaining about the given length. There are side-quests and a lot of blast shards to collect as well. My only complaint about these games and GTA games is their insistence to use islands rather than have an outside world that you just can't go to. I do understand why they do it though.

A friend of mine who got it early says there are a bunch of side quests, but a lot of it is more of the same kind of stuff, kind of like the fairly repetitive side quests in the Assassins Creed series.

I've never played an Infamous game twice (always a good guy!), so a more approachable length is a plus for me.
