re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection
If Gears 4 is a launch title, I might be forced to get the new xbox on release...
Edit: I need to make sure it has horde mode though... |

Still won't sell well when the consoles are not selling. Of course EA has no where to go... Three flop systems at the same time would definitely keep the last gen alive and healthy. To coincide with today's announcement, the Wii U (White) is $239.99 at Target today (down from $299.99) - $10 cheaper than the basic PS3 model. |
re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection
Yeah, that Wii U price actually started yesterday.

re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection
Yeah I'm usually a day behind and a dollar short.

I've never understood that about Nintendo : They cater great fan-service, but with the exception of the brief novelties of Wii Sports and Wii Fit, haven't seemed remotely interested in broadening their appear beyond their core fan base. And they wonder why nobody's buying their new console. |

I'm guilty of the same "Fucking hell, another Battlefield?" "Oh shit, new Zelda!"

Sure it will. It has a unique gamepad, 100% BC with games and accessories and a VC library (eventually growing) of classic titles from numerous consoles and generations. Not seeing anything "unique" with the Next Xbox or PS4 (yet).
Wait, this guy said it best: Spoiler:

http://www.gamespot.com/features/the...ealed-6408247/ You can test it now as they have a "pre-show" going on. They're also putting it up on Youtube afterwards, as well as through their Xbox Live App. |

"Unique?" Bwahahaha. Unique like Mario Kart, Smash Bros., an up-rez'd Zelda, a VC platform full of games we already bought on the Wii and back-compat for playing all your old games. Unique, indeed.

A new Mario game every 3-4 years is a hell of a lot different compared to a new Madden everything year. Comparing the two is pretty laughable.

re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection
Core Mario games have some differences, but Mario Kart or Smash Bros are pretty much rehashes every generation.
Sports games are unique though, roster updates are pretty important. |
re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection
Everything Nintendo does gaming wise is a rehash from 15-20 years ago...I'll never understand the appeal but whatever, I just choose not to buy it.

OK, so the gamespot stream didn't work on my GS3 because it needs Flash. However, the official Xbox.com stream shows up on my phone:

Gizmo, is there a reason why you're in this thread? Pretty much everything you say is negative and comes off as trolling. You already said you have next to no interest in the new X Box, so why not hang out in the Wii U thread with the other guy.

re: Xbox One: This Thread Requires An Always On Internet Connection
Man, if they even just show a logo for Killer Instinct somewhere during this event, people are going to lose their shit.

Spoiler:
I'll buy Mario games as long as they release them but lets not pretend Nintendo is above EA in the milking department. If Nintendo had the resources and could pump them out yearly like Madden, I have no doubt they would. |
