I thought external storage is a catch-all phrase. If they're expecting people to shell out 64 gb or more flash drives, they will catch hell and do another 180 like everything else. I'm not worried.

I'd be shocked if they wouldn't even do what my Nintendo Wii U does.

this is pretty much my philosophy. i liked the infamous series, but not enough to buy a new system for it. now if they launch a new uncharted game, i'll jump on that. wait for there to be a bundle or something.

Wow, that is going to be awesome. Having that many cars on the track at once is going to really show off the horsepower (pun intended ;)) in the system.

Yep, Amazon has updated my console, Ryse and Forza to the 22nd. Dead Rising 3 still shows the placeholder date though.

All of that sounds pretty cool. Faster response time will be great, and I like the idea of having the manual digitally (not that I'll ever read it, but still). Also, accessing the Game DVR stuff remotely sounds nice.

I ordered within an hour or two of them going up for pre-order on Amazon.

That's the same for me as well, pretty much. My PS3 sat pretty much untouched for the last year. I did play it the past two weeks as I picked up The Last of Us. The only series that I was keeping up with were the Uncharted games, Ratchet and Clank, and Infamous. Those aren't enough to get me to buy the PS4 at launch. I'll wait for price drops and bundles in the future if I want to pick up the PS4. The 360 has been my console of choice and anytime a game was multi-platform, I would pick up the 360 version since most of my friends play on that system.

Ditto. Amazon has updated the console, Forza 5, and the plug/charge kit, but as someone else mentioned upthread, Dead Rising 3 hasn't been adjusted yet. I'm sure that'll come.

Oh, so you guys all had launch editions and were just confirmed? That was a given.
I just hope the "Standard Editions" they're now offering at Amazon get bumped to "Day One Editions" in time. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to know.
