The iOS app finally got a much needed update, including actual iPad support. The difference is night and day.

It's that time again! Xur is back..and he's bad!

Xur is located in North Tower, in front of the big ass door across from the speaker.



For the Titan, it's the Taikonaut. Need a tracking Rocket Launcher? Use this helmet!

For the Hunter, it's Sealed Ahamkara Grasps. Smoke for days...

For the Warlock, it's the Apotheosis Veil. Regen your health, grenade and melee when you use your Super!

No weapon this week because...

The Engram this week is for Gauntlets.

The Legacy Engram is for Chests.

Keep in mind we are now 11 days away from the April Update. With that update, all Year 1 exotic armor will be in Year 2. So keep that in mind when buying legacy armor engrams.

Also, should you buy gauntlet engrams, don't decrypt them until AFTER the April Update.

And here's what could be the dumbest change they've ever made for PVE:

Reduce the total Ammo Inventory for all Sniper Rifles by roughly 5-7 rounds (exact amount depends on a given weapon’s Magazine and Inventory stats)

Basically, they're forcing the raid to now be significantly tougher by forcing an extra round on Warpriest and Golgoroth.

I mean we could see the Black Spindle go from 18 rounds to 13 or even 11. And that's not even talking about the 1000 Yard Stare, which loses even more ammo! WTF?

How big is that update and the over/under on how many hours it takes Ice to download it are the first two things that come to mind.

Both are approximately 1.7. The update is around 1.7 GB and it will take Ice 1.7 days to download the update.

Ok sounds about right - I'll take the over.

Perhaps I'll show up unannounced with my Titan hopefully decked out in full Spektar armor.

Well, just remember that while the download is only 1.7 gigs, you need around 20 gigs free during the update, and it's going to go through that whole process of checking the files.

Also, if you're at work and want to get your console to start the process early, there's a couple ways to do it. One would be the new Remote Play app for PC. The other is to go to the PS Store and grab something like a theme from there. If you have it download to the PS4, it will also cause the PS4 to check for updates and trigger the process.
