This Week In Bungie is up. Basically they talk about some of the problems with the April Update (including the missing Sterling Treasure boxes), and which ones are being worked on.
DeeJ said those of us who didn't get those boxes in the Postmaster should get them before the weekly reset, and they're working on making sure it doesn't happen again (we'll see).

Welcome folks to the debut of Xur 5.0! With the April Update now out, Xur has arrived and brought us his deals. Which look very much like what Xur 4.0 has offered us since September.
But hey, he showed up, and I was there, so I might as well tell ya what he brought to the party.
Xur is located in the Reef, in his little cubby hole. Don't worry, that door is now permanently open, even when Xur is not around.
For the Titan, it's the Helm Of Saint-14. This is the first time in nearly 5 months that Xur has offered this item. Ahhhhhh I'm blind! No wait, that's you...
For the Hunter, it's Young Ahamkara's Spine. This is the first time in over 5 months that Xur has offered this item. Like tripmines and teeth? This'll give ya both!
For the Warlock, it's Starfire Protocol. It returns after a 4 month absence. It's also the 11th time Xur has sold it. Like fusion grenades? Here's two!
No engram this week because...
The weapon this week is Bad Juju. This is the 1st time ever that Xur has sold this item!
The Legacy Engram is for Special Weapons.
Note here: While normally I tell you don't buy this unless you really want something, I have to make something clear here. The POE/House Of Wolves exotics (Queenbreakers' Bow, Lord Of Wolves, Dreg's Promise) do not get unlocked in Year 2 by owning the Year 1 versions. Instead you have to earn them again through Challenge Of The Elders. So if your goal is to get those weapons for this purpose, it won't work. Still, if you wanna complete your year 1 set, go for it.
In my video report this week, I do just that. Legacy Engrams: A Cautionary Tale Part 2 is part of the Xur Report this week. Watch as I burn through my Strange Coins just for science! Well, that and a Pocket Infinity...

Today, we're deploying a fix for players who logged in between 2AM and 10AM PDT on 4/12/2016 and did not receive their first free weekly Sterling Treasure Box. Affected players will ONLY have until the 04/19 Weekly Reset (2AM PST) to log in and attain it. At 2AM PDT, players will resume into a new weekly cycle, where players can log in and play the respective activities for additional free Sterling Treasures.
General
Fixed an issue in which some players were not correctly receiving Sterling Treasures for logging in
Affected players will ONLY have until the 04/19 Weekly Reset (2AM PDT) to attain them.
Players will be able to receive Sterling Treasures from the following method upon weekly reset:
Logging into a character on their account (1 per account)
Completing a match in weekly featured Crucible playlist
Completing Level 41 Prison of Elders

Legendary Engrams are great and all, but if you’re playing Iron Banner, it’s more likely that you want some of that sweet Iron Banner gear. So you should expect to see more Iron Banner gear next week instead of Legendary Engrams. Iron Banner gear will now have a chance to drop after every match you play - no more waiting until Rank 2. Given that many players spend more time playing at lower ranks due to the tempered mechanic, it was important to make sure those earlier games were rewarding as well.
Also, to address the Fallen Walker in the room: Some of you were adamant that your reward experience wasn’t consistent with your fellow Guardians. We did some digging and uncovered a reward logic issue that blocked some of your rewards prior to Rank 5 in Iron Banner. That issue was resolved in the April Update.
I believe these changes are going to significantly improve your experience in Iron Banner next week. I’ll be listening closely for your feedback! An excerpt from the April Update follows:
Lord Saladin's inventory has been updated with items at Ranks 3-5, some with re-rolled perks
Rank package rewards have been adjusted:
Increased Rank 3 package Artifact to 320 Light
Increased Rank 5 package Ghost to 320 Light
Rank 5 packages can now reward items from the current event
Iron Banner Armor and Weapons can now be earned at Rank 0 at the end-of-activity
Removed Legendary Engrams from the possible end-of-activity rewards list, creating a greater chance to receive Iron Banner specific items
"Iron Domination" daily bounty now requires completing a match with a personal score of 1500 instead of winning a match with 2500
"Iron Versatility" bounty now only requires 7 Heavy Weapon kills to complete
Fixed an issue where players below Rank 5 could roll a reward they were ineligible for, resulting in no reward being given
Fixed an issue where the Iron Banner ship was missing a part of its frame
As the Iron Lords become more generous, let’s take a look at what you might be receiving…

So unless there are some god rolls on the weapons and armor. I may pass. No new PS exclusive armor stinks. (I say this now but I am sure I'll jump in for more loot) I'd really rather focus on getting PoE and Raiding done first.

For the Titan, it's the Helm Of Inmost Light. Aim your fist of havoc!
For the Hunter, it's the Lucky Raspberry chest. This item was just brought into Year 2 last week with the April Update.
For the Warlock, it's the Purifier Robes. Blind your enemies when using radiance. This item was also brought into Year 2 last week.
