As musick said, turn in multiple bounties at the same time, do bounties on a consistent basis, and you will see Exotic bounties come your way.

I will 3rd it. Do your bounties in bunches and the exotic bounties will pop while you turn in your bounties.

Not sure why no one else has answered your question, but they are random drops when you turn in your regular bounties. Just turn in a bunch together, and you will eventually get one.

Ok..... I guess no one will answer if Exotic bounties are random or not. I guess I'll just try handing in multiple bounties at once and see if maybe that helps...

They are random. EVERYTHING in Destiny is at the mercy of a RNG

That's a good thing. Lets people take time enjoy the story, level up, find what gear you like.

What "game play"? It's all cinematics and 3rd-person action. I didn't see one single shot of actual gameplay in first-person.

I don't see how it's a good thing. You are paying $40 and not getting the content upfront. I think it's another good reason to wait. If the raid ends up being a shit show, you are already out the money.

I think it's a good thing as well. HoW was a joke because everyone was at 34 in the first few days. People keep bringing up the fact that it's $40. COD charges $50 for maps.

So when you buy any game you feel you're automatically entitled to all end game content?

I have to assume that as soon as it's released no one will be at a level high enough to complete it. So the fact that it's not available the second it's released is irrelevant.

I guess you just cancelled your pre-order for it.

I look at it this way: I was paying $15/month for a MMORPG before this, and it was never "finished." With Destiny, for $40, I get a TON of content and don't have to pay another dime until the next expansion--and only then if I want. Comparatively, it's quite a deal.

Re: Bungie - Destiny

OK, so here we go with this week's Reset Report.

Lord Saladin has cleared his ass out of the Tower, the next time he returns it will be a far different place. Well, far might be stretching it, but it will be changed. But that's the next two weeks. Time to focus here on Week 52. The final week of Year 1!

The Nightfall this week is Rockets McDickface.

Nightfall
Epic
Arc Burn
Brawler
Solar Burn

Take a small moment to reflect on the fact that this will be your final chance to hear Dinklebot say "He's In A Tank." The moment will have to be small as the NF goes fast. Be sure to pick up The Cleansing bounty from Eris and the McDickface bounty from the regular board.

The Weekly this week is The Shadow Thief.

Heroic
Angry

The Weekly Strike is going away with The Taken King, so only 2 more of these left. If you need coins, stock up now.

The 32 POE this week is the Cabal Of Many Colors
The 34 POE this week is Crota's Red Brother
The 35 POE Skolas Round is Catapult & Angry

Bungie is giving you one last shot to complete your Moments of Triumph. No Lightswitch again. But this is the last week you can actually get it done. So if you still need it, do it!

Variks is selling the Wolves Leash Scout Rifle this week. It has the Captain Supression perk.

Variks is also selling boots this week.

The Warlock gets 152 Intellect and Cabal perks
The Hunter gets 151 Discipline and Cabal Perks
The Titan gets 140 Intellect and Vex Perks

Re: Bungie - Destiny

OK, here's a rare piece of good news coming from the mouth of Luke Smith...or more accurately from his Twitter:

TTK/2.0: Many (not all!) pieces of Exotic Armor will accept color from Shaders. Helm of St. 14 w/Revenant looks sweet. St.14 returns for Y2
So two good things here. More Exotic armor will work with shaders. Yay.

But the even bigger news is that the Helm Of Saint-14 is confirmed to be getting a Year 2 Upgrade! May the blinding of our enemies continue...

Revenant is my favorite shader, don't you agree?

I only kept mine because I loved the name of it

Since Ice informed me of it's qualities and rareness, I am actually now using it.
