On the Husk of the Pit...I picked up my 4th the other day, have two with all the needed kills and the 3rd about 80%. Still none of the characters have reached Level 3 yet with Eris but that will change this week.

I really felt bad for one friend I play with. They picked one of these up and thought it was "junk' not knowing what it really was and what it could turn into and yes...deleted it. Over the past few days they said they probably did 35+ Sword carriers and nothing. Of course I had to mention I had four and they didn't help at all.

And last night I played with two others doing a bunch of bounties and strikes and the Husk came up. Two of us had a few and one still didn't get one. At that very moment one of the Minions of Crota popped up, he took the Sword guy down and got a Husk. It was funny we just started talking about it and about two minutes later he had his first.

Thank God my kids are off break and back to school this week! Other than spending a few hours trying to level up my low level hunter, the only time I've put in the past 2+ weeks was going to Xur and picking up T&P and upgrading my Hawkmoon.

At one point I seriously considered picking up a PSP just so I could do bounties and level up my gear.

The best holiday gift from Bungie would be the Sepiks / Earth strike for Nightfall. The crap Omnigul strike ruined the rotation...again. I have a feeling that it will be Mars.

So I've had kind of a productive morning, but Bungie still likes to troll me.

In the raids, My Warlock got the chest piece, another pair of gloves I broke down, and not much else. He can now get to 32.

My Titan got the helmet, the Hunger Of Crota, and a second pair of boots. The new boots were better than the originals, so I scrapped the originals. My Titan can get to 32.

My Hunter got a second pair of gloves, the chest piece, The Ir Yut (My 3rd), and a Dragon's Breath from the first chest. Bungie gives me a rocket launcher, and it's the one I bought on Friday. Oy.

That being said, I have the complete Hunter Raid set.

The Mars strike is actually my favorite nightfall strike. If you have an Icebreaker it's super easy to solo. No burn this week will make it slightly more time consuming, but still there is hardly anything that even shoots at you if you know how to get past each section.

You can run past the entire first section, snipe the 3 LTs from the top of the hill where you first come out of the base, snipe the tank from where the LTs were, run by all the remaining enemies into Valus' area, and just hide behind the crates in the corner and pick away at him.

I'll admit, if you don't have an Icebreaker it's obviously much harder since ammo will be an issue with that strategy. But with Icebreaker, it's the easiest nightfall by far.

So find someone who has an Icebreaker to carry me through the nightfall this week, got it!

I thought everyone had it. I actually feel bad for people that don't because it really does make the game easier.

ok question from a Destiny noob. I am level 5 Warlock and I tried crucible for the first time last night. Either matchmaking is terrible or levels don't matter. Everyone other than me was level 25+


do i need to just avoid crucible until i get past level 20?

Gotta level up to open up the Warlock Sunsingers Fireborn skill . I also need to get the Hunter Bladedancer going for the invisibility perk or level up the Don't Touch Me Gauntlets I just bought (love the defensive reflex perk).

No. On regular crucible levels don't matter. Map knowledge is more important. You are all dealing and recieving the same base damage. Low level characters are only at a disadvantage because they have not opened up some of the better perks on the skill tree or they haven't leveled up the perks of weapons or ammo. I say if you enjoy it jump in.

Iron Banner multiplayer is a different animal. Levels do matter for characters, weapons and armor. You can't even lead a team and join until level 20. and any other player more than 4 levels higher is like facing an ingame boss

I wasn't into the whole weekly/nightfall/raid part of the game when it was sold by Xur so I missed out and I have been unable to have it drop. Definitely one of my most wanted exotics.

You'll be glad (and/or salty) to know that Toshka got a JellyHorn and McRubick got a Praxic Fire from our nightfall runs. They weren't too bad as far as nightfalls go. Much less irritating than last week's at any rate. I finally got a Hawkmoon, but I can't imagine that I'll get much use out of it. Otherwise, I got shat on as usual.

With my Hunter getting a chest today, all three of my characters have the gear to get to 32, but like you, my Titan is the only one with pure intellect/discipline rolls. I did get better gloves for my Warlock, so I just have a bad chest, and I can't recall what my issues were with my Hunter gear.

I'm going to just sit on my shards until the hard raid releases, and unless they do something about the cheese, I might even sit on it then. The funny thing is that I'm not really playing this game at all, and I don't feel like I'm falling behind in any appreciable way.

I had 20 minutes to burn this morning before I had to go to work so I did the 1st chest in the Croata raid for my 3 characters. All characters got shards, Warlock also got the Bone Circlet and my hunter had the No Land Beyond exotic primary sniper drop (worst sniper allegedly - hoping for a patch)

I picked these gauntlets up this past weekend. The first ever non-Helmet/Vest Exotic piece I ever bought just unlocked that invisible when hit perk and it comes in handy. Got hit by a Captain in a Public Event, became invisible, went behind and blasted him point-blank with a shotgun. Any gun using a "Stagger & Stun" really helps. In fact the hunter has become my favorite period with the invisibility option.

Be up for Crota, Nightfall and or Weekly tonight

Yeah, they mentioned it to me when I finished my raids. I think McRubick said it was his 4th. Then I just did a nightfall with Tosh-Ka on his new character (he got to 20 just in time), and he got No Land Beyond, the other guy playing got Dragon's Breath, and I got a Purple pulse rifle. At least Tosh-Ka got an exotic shard out of it

Tosh also got the boots for his Titan, so I think he's 32 ready there.

I have enough shards to get to 32 on my Warlock. Just have to max out my new chest. It's not the best roll, but overall the mix is pretty good. And by god does it look...AWESOME.

I really like the idea of this exotic making shotguns relevent in PvE.

I love the warlock gear. Mine is also 32 ready. Just gotta level up the Guantlets and Boots - think I have enough shards to get one completed.
Only delimna I have is I don't have any kind of helmet other than an exotic. (LBN and Apothesis Veil).

My titan needs a helmet or a chest to drop in order to be 32 ready. I have had 4 of the gauntlets drop for me. Really. 4.
