Really? Did X1 get some exclusive (non-Kinect) titles that I missed in 2012 or 2013?

Killzone will probably outsell Dead Rising 3. Killzone 2 & 3 sold respectively well on PS3. Dead Rising 2 did not sell that well on either console.

As far as exclusives and my likes - the One does have a better launch line-up.

Now I have to go and look at the 15 launch games for the PS4 to see if anything changed....

Dead Rising = only zombie game at launch = zombie nerds will buy the shit out of it.

Killzone is a 2nd rate FPS coming out alongside the two largest FPS franchises of the last generation. No way it sells in higher numbers than DR3 unless the PS4 outsells the X1 4:1.

I did think it was odd,but I didn't see any Japanese-focused titles in the launch lineup either (not even a Koei title, which may be a first). Couple that with their lack of competition in the region for the PS3 and maybe that's why? Plus hey, another PS3 Monster Hunter is coming out...

That would be funny if Microsoft sent, I dunno, 100 Xbones to Japan as some super special limited edition. Even though there would be no games, I'm sure the collector's mentality there would snap them up. Or create an even bigger problem if they didn't move at all...

I personally think they're about equal, though I'll take Knack over Ryse, but I'd prefer Dead Rising over KillZone. Forza and Drive Club are a wash for me.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great game series, but it just doesn't strike me as a $60 title.

Unfortunately it's all "Launch Window" dates right now, I'm assuming for both consoles (though we don't have a date for the Xbox One yet so it's irrelevant). The 15 game list is just the retail games coming out for the PS4, not the downloadable titles.

Well, it was a retail release. Amazon had listings for both it and the 360 version, but now they only list it on 360.

Funny but an Alan Wake or even Left 4 Dead release would probably print me to buy a Xbox One.

I was thinking 1000 units, all sold in Tokyo, gold-plated, CoD and Forza bundled, and the equivalent of $3000 USD in price. "You want Xbox One in Japan? This is your only option, fuckers!"

I agree that the buzz isn't as good for DR3, but it seems to be getting better. Personally, I played DR2 on the weekend and thought it was kind of terrible (at least, as far as I got... which wasn't very far). That's making me re-evaluate whether or not I bother with DR3 right away. So yeah, I hear you.
