Nintendo seems to do more when it updates a title for re-release vs just slapping it on a disc/cart and calling it a day (not talking about VC releases at all). WW seems to have gotten the most love from Nintendo and at $50 it's a pretty good deal. |
re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Actually, isn't standard price $59?
|
re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Apparently, Toys R Us is having a buy 1, get 1 free sale on certain Wii U titles next week:
Less flexible than Target's B2G1F sale that's also running next week, but...

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Got my Wii U all set-up, just downloading WindWaker now. I'm typically not a fan of downloads unless they're really low cost....but I just can't wait two more weeks to play this game.

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Target's sale is B2G1 on all Wii U games, right?
|
re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
I notice that that Scribblenauts Unmasked, the DC tie-in game, comes out on the 24th. I might wait till that comes out to do the B2G1 at Target.

Hey Moopher, you need to press the home button and go to friends list and manually type in my username. Right now you're just following me on Miiverse. I would send you a friend request through your Miiverse profile, but your settings are set to not allow it.

Includes a White or Black 32gb system, controlpad/tablet, Wii Remote Plus, 30 days of Nintendo x Joysound Wii Karaoke U service, digital copies of New Super Mario Bros U and Wii Party U. $332, not bad for Japan. |
re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Minor correction: the one with Wii Fit U and the Fit Meter is a tiny bit pricier at $352, coming in at $20 more than the other bundle. They range from $13 to $33 more than the game-less premium Wii U over on that side of the Pacific. That's a whole lotta value if they can bring it over here.

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
I left the Wii Fit U one out since it doesn't include the required scale-whatever-thing that I guess is required? I dunno.

Gotcha, that's what I get for only half looking at what I'm doing.

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
My local Target didn't get any WiiU Scribblenauts Unmasked. Plus they have no Rayman games, and I didn't realize Wind Waker isn't coming out until next month. Does the buy three games and return 2 still work, because there's no way I'm finding three games for the B2G1F.

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
does anyone want a wind waker download code? i bought the deluxe system but im gonna wait on the physical game.. ill sell it for $39 (about $15 below eshop price)... if this is not allowed on these boards i apologize

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Has anyone played the Wonderful 101 yet? My son was enamored with the display video at Target last week? I'm not even sure what the genre is but was thinking it'd make a good Xmas present for him.
|
re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
How's that work? 33% off each?
So is Zombie U worth $20? |

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
I grabbed a used copy of Nintendoland from GS for $8...I'm having a blast with everything I've played except the dumb balloon game.

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
I haven't had a chance to hit Target up yet. I guess if they don't have Scribblenauts Unmasked I can get Rayman. The other ones I want are Pikmin and Wonderful 101.
|
re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Maybe I'll get Rayman, Scribblenauts, and Pikmin, then.
|
re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Finally found a Target with Scribblenauts Unmasked. Still no Rayman, but that led me to confirm that Disney Infinity, which is already on sale for 60, is eligible for B2g1f
