Well, it's too bad it's DLC for Season 1 instead of standalone. I cared for the game quite a bit, but played through the disc and sold it. I'm not buying again just to pay extra for another hour or two.

The 400 Days DLC was fantastic. I will definitely play it again closer to the Season 2 release, just to see the other possible endings.

I just finished it. It was good but really short. As for the ending,
How'd everybody else fare?

Re: The Walking Dead (Telltale Games)
Just finished playing 400 Days all in one sitting. For my ending,
I found it really difficult to be invested in any of the stories, since they were so short and lacking context. It's basically just a prologue for season 2, and I suppose that's ok.

"400 Days" was well-written and fun to play. However, it was missing two key components that made the core game great:
1. No emotional connection to the characters (each vignette was too short for that).
2. No chance to see the consequences of your choices. In all the stories, the choice was made right at the end, and it didn't connect to the other stories like I thought it would. Maybe this will come in Season 2...?
Also, I thought that your choices in the core game were supposed to effect events in this one? I didn't see any evidence of that, although maybe I missed something.
Finally, I was surprised that 70% of players:
1. No emotional connection to the characters (each vignette was too short for that).
2. No chance to see the consequences of your choices. In all the stories, the choice was made right at the end, and it didn't connect to the other stories like I thought it would. Maybe this will come in Season 2...?

I did two playthroughs of 400 Days and the 1st time only got 3 of the 5 to join the settlement (Shel and that younger girl stayed at camp). I made the opposite choices on the second playthough and got all 5 to join.
Looking forward to the next episode.
