It's a good deal, specially compared to what you would pay if you buy them individually.
The DLC for the first game is always on sale, so we may see that for this one too, but you'll have to play the waiting game. I think only the Fallout 3 DLC goes on sale more than the BL1 DLC.

Yeah, this is the right price for me. $22.50 for 4 pieces of moderate to good and lengthy DLC is just fine. And, as predicted, the sale comes before the DLC is completed. If my math is right, only half of it is out but the 3rd pack is at least announced.
I'm still going to wait to play them until the level cap is increased.

Green Man Gaming has the PC version of Borderlands 2 and the DLC Season Pass for $31.50 total today after coupon.
The Mecromancer DLC is also on sale for $3.50 after coupon.
The coupon code is GMG30-DPLIM-DN831, and you'll have to place two/three separate orders (coupon is only good for one item per order; can be used for multiple orders).
The DLC pack does not include the Mecromancer DLC, the Creature Slaughter Dome, or the Collectors Edition Pack.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
finally finished this at level 32. I was really shocked how easy the last mission was. I died about 2x and none during the last fight with Jack. The whole game was a struggle to me and i heard how difficult the last mission is so I was really surprised. I had quests where i was dying around 20-30x and this by far was the easiest besides the first few missions.

Sale or not, I can't figure out where I'd actually purchase the PS3 season pass. Not on Amazon, PSN, etc.

Go to Games -> PS3 Game Add-ons -> Season Passes. Something like that at least. They have them in a separate sub-section of the games/add-ons.

A couple of us had to do the first playthru in the Pirate DLC last night with our Level 50 characters so to complete some missions. I have no idea how or why but we got more Blue Drops in one session than what we've ever encountered. Nothing really special but as long as we've played we agreed it was more than triple the amount we've normally seen.
On top of that we got a few Pinks, some Purple, one Gold SMG (The Leviathan) and even a Lite Pink from Master Gee...all of course around Level 30. But the amount of Blue Drops really surprised us even I will say most were "non-elemental". I've been thru it three times now and this time thru had more good drops than the other two combined.

Sir Hammerlock DLC is next week. To celebrate, they are doing an "event" weekend where there are all sorts of rare drops in certain parts of the game.

I guess to the "where" in the game is just that...guessing. We're about 1/3 in on a new playthru and could start the 2nd playthru on two other characters. If we find anything we'll post it.

Even after you buy it, you have to do something in the game menu to install it.
Might see if anybody is on this weekend. I've been pretty scarce lately.

Well doing some early part of the first playthru we didn't find crap...drops or in chests. Basically the same old stuff, white & green. Later on I took my Axton Level 39 and went back in some higher levels in the first playthru and did see "Blue Shotguns" being dropped by enemies. Weirs but most seemed to be Slag Type. They were ok, nothing to brag about.
We did "Hell's Pass" and there was nothing until The Warrior. Got loads of iridium, about 3-4 Purples and about 4 Blue...again a lot of Slag stuff but really nothing special.

The "Shotgun" runs out at 10:44AM CST. No word as of yet what the new special will be and when it will end.

Grenade mods: Did someone mention EXPLOSIONS? Keep an eye out for powerful grenade mods -- we hear they're rather abundant in Borderlands 2 today.

Tempted to run around to find stuff, but they really need to give us some hints on what is being offered, anything possibly new, maybe even a hint on the areas to farm...if that is even a thing. Ugh.

Since I'm only lvl 12 ran around and checked some of the chest in Three Horns area and found a purple, and about 2-3 green grenade mods. Of course I don't know if it was because of the 'event' or not.

The details they have listed about this say that the bonus rare items will only be loot drops from killing enemies and not chests or vending machines.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
I'm starting to get the feeling my days with Borderlands 2 are numbered. I've got to characters already at (50), one at (40) and another in the first playthru at (22). That's seven playthrus in the normal game.
I really don't mind doing new characters and starting fresh. In fact I find it more challenging trying to stay alive and actually having to look for decent stuff. I'm not sure how many Level 49 & 50 stuff I have but it's far more than I'll ever use. A far cry at the earlier levels.
Sorry to rant here but the biggest issue and one that really irks me is when Level 50 "friends" take it upon themselves to jump in your game just to run thru, rack up kills to complete THEIR challenges leaving you basicaly there along for the ride. I have no idea of what satisfaction or thrill one can find doing this. Woildn't be far easier to jump in your own game at first playthru and run thru on your own pace instead of taking the game and thrill away from some trying to do the gme the correct way?
Two of us have taken two characters each, completing a first playthru side-by-side and in the middle of another first playthru. We like to take our time, look around and check places we've never seen before. However when is it fun when you have a Level 50 going ahead of you and wiping out everything ahead so to get their challenges. Here we were, two Level 38's trying to do our mission and we have two Level 50's just obliterating everything ahead. Heck...why bother worrying about picking up stuff let alone carrying any weapons.
Another reason why I think not having a level increase by now has become a big mistake. There is no real challenge anymore at Level 50 except to complete challenges which are far easier to do at lower levels. Why play alone why you can jump in a friends game, claim to "help them move along faster" all the while taking about every kill in site.

Buzz, just set your game to private/invite only. i agree though, that is annoying. also when i'm lvl 50 doing stuff and a lvl 20 friend jumps in without asking, also annoying

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
I stopped playing when I got all 5 characters to lvl 50 (which was back in early November). But when I was playing I definitely would never have jumped in someone's game that was that far below me. That's just boring for everyone involved.
Until they up the level cap, there really is no point in playing anymore for me. I paid for the Season Pass at launch when I bought the game, and I still haven't even tried the Torque DLC because I already had all lvl 50's before it came out.

Yeah, set it to private.
In my case even when I'm playing with strangers, wait and see, and try to not "be that guy".
But I haven't played BL2 in a long time, heck, I haven't played any Xbox 360 game like in a month. And I got the season pass in DLC, but I'm waiting for the level increase.

Got back and played some yesterday...both alone and with my co-op partner whom I'm doing the 2nd playthru with. They asked what happened the other night....I basically bailed out of the game. Actually i just parked myself in a corner somewhere and went and ate some ice creame for about 20 minutes.
I pretty much told them what i did and they know how I feel about it because they don't care for it either. But it was their game and they don't like telling friends NO. Instead they'll say it's time for them to hit the bed or something which makes sense due to their time zone. They did tell them they would have to change the game if everyone wanted to stay since we're doing the storyline and playthru together.
For me I told them the next time they come in I'm going to say I have to leave because my console is acting up...which it has. We've talked about the new DLC and they asked what my plans are and frankly I don't know. Sure it's a new challenge but for what....more Level 50 weapons. Like the 40-50+ Level 49-50 I already have is not enough. For the XP I cannot even use like the Iridium we keep getting. If anything probably finish the two characters we're working on along with the challenges together. So much better when you have one or two on the same page and sharing stuff which we do....like skins.
