my thoughts on coop...
Single player feels good when it comes to difficulty...
Two Player Coop feels perfect though. It seems to balance difficulty with enemies. I have not played 3 player, but 4 player coop seems off. The increased difficulty is not offset by the extra players like in 2 player coop. The nature of this game makes it difficult to coordinate 4 people on the same creature, except for maybe boss fights. As a result, 4 player seems broken a bit.
I understand increasing the difficulty as you get more players, but instead of increasing their damage, I wish they would increase the number of enemies and their health only...oh well, it is not impossible, just frustrating reviving your friends all the time.

i'm still struggling with playthrough 2 and my Zer0. sniper tree is great with 2 people, but solo i just get rocked by anything i can't keep away from me. I'm sure its a gear thing, and thats the problem with the first parts of the level. I just beat back some bonerfarts, so i just need to keep plugging ahead. just so damned frustrating

fwiw, if you have trouble finding the DLC (like I did), it opens up a travel point called Oasis. use the fast travel to go there, and it initiates the game. took me like 5 minutes to figure it out.

I haven't been reading through this thread, but have others here noticed that the game looks a little too "zoomed in"? I feel like I'm always looking through a peephole; lacking in peripheral vision compared to other FPS games. Any way to adjust that?

Yeah, I posted something similar when the game first came out. The splitscreen is almost unplayable because of the zoomed in feel. I don't know of any way to fix it. I suppose I just got used to it after awhile, but after the first few days I was getting dizzy.

Think I might get the season pass today. I don't mind supporting these guys since they made a great game, and I definitely want more content.
I also farmed a "Bee" shield last night from Hunter Helquist, and damn...just shredding dudes. For those who don't know, this orange shield is an "amp" shield that adds damage to your shots, only this one doesn't take any of your shield, so EVERY shot is an amp shot, and it also recharges almost instantly.
A level 50 Bee adds 45,000 damage to every shot, so the stats of your gun hardly matter other than the ability to quickly get a lot of shots downrange. SMGs and Vladoffs are great, and if you're using a shotgun, every pellet has the 45,000 add, so it multiplies pretty quick. I smoked both the Warrior and Terramorphous in about one minute combined last night. The only downside is that it's a low capacity shield for a level 50, and that causes some instant deaths.

There are actually different types of "The Bee" shields. Mine gives a +52500 damage buff and also makes me immune to fire damage.
It tied with either two Conference Call shotguns or two SMG's in Gunzerker mode makes for some good times.

The thing with the higher-level kick-ass weapons/shields is that you get them so late in the game, that you end up hardly using them.

(To throw in my own example, I used the Bee shield plus the Conference Call shotgun, both at level 50, and was able to take down Terramorphous solo within about 5 seconds, multiple times.)

We did the first "Slaughterhouse" last night with our two Mechromancers....it was total mayhem. I don't think I've seen that much sparks and jolts fly in one game at one time like that. I started out with Maya and she's still at Level 32 but I may end up finishing out with Gaige and her Mech.

Gearbox has also confirmed that The Bee is way more overpowered than they intended, especially when combined with shotguns, and that they will be reducing its power in an update soon. So anyone who wants to use it should enjoy it while they can.
