Speaking of Tiny Tina, I did her quests a few nights ago (the tea party), is that it for the game or does she make a return before the end?

She calls you on the echo at the end, the but no more quests.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
Depends on which order you do the side quests... Lilith gives you one involving the Eridium mine that when you're done you turn in to Tina, and then Tina does give you another one. I'm not sure if the Tea Party needs to be completed first, but I've always had my last mission from Tina being "the Pretty Good Train Robbery". But yeah, she doesn't show up anymore when you're near the end.

Here are the latest round of tweets from Randy Pitchford, you know, for those too lazy to search them out.
All SHiFT tests were successful and we're feeling confident. We're setting up for some big redemption SHiFT rewards as soon as we can
"As soon as we can" will mean anywhere between a few days to a couple of weeks from now.
I will try to release more limited codes via my twitter to bridge the gap. When we're all the way there, you'll see SHiFT MotD's in-game!
Check with me again this weekend...
You may want to follow @GBXMechromancer as Gaige the Mechromancer will be spilling her guts here in the coming weeks!

Keep an eye out, as we'll soon be handing out SHiFT codes that can be redeemed for a Golden Key in Borderlands 2.
Specifically, we'll be posting codes on 10/5 at 6PM and 11PM CT and on 10/6 at 5AM, 11AM and 3PM CT.
Each code will be able to be used once per account, and will be active for three hours apiece.

Cool. Might actually be able to get both those.

Ack! I'm not going to be home to able to use any, but one of those codes. Think I'll hold onto my key this time and use it at a higher level (post-25). Last key, I got a couple decent, but ultimately, useless shotguns. At least I sold them for decent in-game cash.

I saw that. Involves a flash drive multiple saves or something or other? Sounds more like a glitch like weapon sharing.

Bunch of cheatin' mofos.
Got my first orange drop today. Well sort of a drop, came from the slot machines, level 38 SMG, it's pretty amazing.

my experience so far...it seems that every 5 levels is a good jump before using the keys...the biggest jump though was from level 33-35...everything seemed to double in power...

Ah, perhaps you just have to backup your saves then use the backup to open the chests and just repeat over and over again.

I don't need the keys at all anymore, and never used one anyway, but I still find myself unable to pass up any opportunities to get them. Gearbox certainly understands the hoarding instinct. Want all the things!

Yeah, I somewhat regret not just modifying the file on the pc version to give myself 200+ keys so I would stop running to my computer everytime a code is posted..

1. Start game with whatever low level character in Sanctuary
2. With second controller bring in your higher level character (or whatever level you want good loot for)
3. Open box with second player (has to be player 2!)
4. Save and exit second player
5. Repeat steps 2-4 until you find what you're looking for
Definitely works on PS3, as I've done it plenty, and there are youtube vids showing it work on 360. Just never open the box with player one.
It's actually kind of hilarious as you end up with a pile of purple weapons in that room because you only keep the ones you really really want.
Hope that helps somebody.

That doesn't sound right. If you open the chest with the character that is saving/quitting then wouldn't it save the fact you just used a key?

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
They're giving them out like candy, no need for all the hoops. It's definitely an exploit since the keys are consumed on use and they clearly want you to get more than one or else they wouldn't have done codes worth 5 and 10 keys already.

A friend sent me the link and it has the cheats for unlimited keys, unlimited badass points, easy xp, etc. I'm not down with that though. I'll play the way it was intended and if I get bored after I'm long done with the game I may mess with some of them.
There's even a cheat to boost a secondary character to level 50 instantly.

That kind of stuff, in my opinion, is fine after you've experienced the game. I just want to get satisfaction for my investment, but once that's done, Game Genie type stuff is fine for messing around.
But using them out of the gate just to rush to completion or for achievements/trophies just seems so sad. I do always forget the renters, though.

It even shows the key going from 1 to 0, but when you exit out and come back in, you can do it again and again.
And it's hardly "hoops". I can run the cycle of bringing in player 2, opening the chest and saving in about 30 seconds. Much easier than watching some douchebag's twitter feed.

I didn't know the vending machines gave out orange loot, I've never won anything better than purple. I'm assuming that's what the 3 Borderlands symbols give you since I've yet to see that payout.
