Yeah, I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about Dragonborn, as it's essentially Skyrim 1.5, with a dash of Morrowind thrown in. It's pretty huge.

Went to Solstheim with my dear Serana
Turned around and she was gone
Where have you gone, my lovely Serana?
OK, fine, come on Teldryn

Found Serana! Hours later... She was in the Telvanni Tower mushroom house, by the "float down" portal, inexplicably near death and being repeatedly injured. Once she saw me she stopped trying to go down and followed me, while Teldryn waited patiently at the bottom.
I talked to her and saw I could still dismiss her.... hmm... No way I got that lucky... We both float down and I can still dismiss Teldryn, too.
Yes, that's right: I now have two followers!

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim -- November 2011
Oh god, with Serana and Teldryn it's so ridiculous. The first thing Teldryn does is summon a flame atronach, and Serana always has a zombie. On the Temple level, I had:
1. Me
2. Serana
3. Serana's zombie
4. Teldryn
5. Teldryn's flame atronach
6. Frea
It was like the goddamn Superfriends.

I was half tempted to summon a Dremora and Durnehviir (the dragon) just to complete the scene.
Teldryn is also a bit of a hothead, too. He runs in front my attacks and then gets angry and turns on me... Well, with two followers I've discovered that applies not just to me. Teldryn got pissed at Serana and they had it out.

Of course, Serana is invincible so she won. I reloaded, but this is more like babysitting than dungeon crawling... Will probably dismiss Teldryn soon.

There haven't been any spoilers. There is a conflict you can come across between Rieklings and Nords. You can choose a side.
In fact, I can't really think of anything in Skyrim that could be considered a spoiler. There would have to be a focus on storytelling for that to be the case. Spoiling Skyrim is like spoiling Super Mario Bros.

I just got back into the game and haven't played Dragonborn yet and I see stuff about choosing sides because so and so is a badass and this item is great and this level is great.
Granted the game has been out awhile and I am taking a chance coming into the thread but still.
Maybe I'm overreacting but I am just a spoiler tag supporter I guess.

Sure, and I love spoiler tags, I just can't think of anything that has been said that's a spoiler. It's like saying I like the look of Endor in Return of the Jedi. Without context it's meaningless, and with context it still doesn't affect your experience.
To clarify, the guy I was talking about (Teldryn) is just some merc you can hire like any other merc in the game. Serana is from Dawnguard, and has no scripted role in Dragonborn. The lands mentioned are just that--places you can go to. Again, no one has talked about the story (such as it is) or any plot characters.
On a side note, I'm now at 300 hours on my latest save.

Fair enough.
I had to start my level 57 character over but it's been fun all over again. I just finished Dawnguard and am level 23, but haven't done hardly any main quests. Should I level up more before jumping into Dragonborn?

Also consider that there is special dialogue with some characters based on your prior accomplishments. I've noticed in particular dialogue arising from completing the main questline, the College of Winterhold questline, the Thieves Guild questline, and "Discerning the Transmundane". I haven't finished Dragonborn yet so there may be others. These are mostly brief asides, but nice to hear someone acknowledge your exploits.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim -- November 2011
Finished Dragonborn DLC yesterday. Thoughts:
- Dragon riding is pretty clumsy
- Water-walking boots are probably my favorite thing in this entire DLC
- Liked the main villain; he was a good character. The final battle was fun, but he didn't even scratch me, which felt wrong.
- Thought the Black Book quests were visually neat

There are new shouts in Dragonborn. One of them, when mastered, allows you to command dragons and ride them. You can kill enemies while on the dragon by commanding the dragon to attack them and by using magic. There's an achievement related to it and you need to master it to complete the main questline. But the controls are clunky and unintuitive.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim -- November 2011
I've played Dragonborn quite a bit. It's a fun expansion. A bit easy for me at times due to mainly having my elf character use the bow and arrow as my main weapon, and my sneak is maxed out, as well as my bow. Usually two shots with a bow is good enough to take out most enemies. Bad thing is I'll never reach level 81, or is it 80, to get another part of the game to open up. I don't really want to spend much time doing meaningless hacking and slashing to up my characters level, but if there's a somewhat easy and fast way to do it, can someone please let me know?
Thanks

It's been way past the 30 day 360 exclusive window and no pc release yet? I was really hoping today would be the day but nothing yet. Maybe tomorrow?

I spent more time with Dragonborn than I do on some full retail games these days.
If I had known...
